A final solution if you can not trump duplication meaning have conditions 2 and 4 take precedence then simply

do it your way as you suggested yesterday:

If default > smooth

1 -If default < 0 dark green

2 - If default > 0 bright green

If default < smooth

1 - If default > 0 dark red

2 - if default < 0 bright red

I can use that new histogram below the original histogram that I already have which shows my special conditions 2 and 4 to resolve this problem.

That indicator could not work with new mt4 (it needed an upgrade)

I was wondering if you could

1. add a trendUp=1 / trendDn=-1 buffer with the "alertsLevel" 3 or 4 &

2. add a trendOut=2 when your position 1 or -1 goes from "alertsLevel" 3 or 4 to "alertsLevel" 2.

I was hoping the new MT$ with 12 buffers would work.
