I think they have different calculations. While one is calculated by range (largest-smaller) and the other by volume. can you help me? I tried to make to chalkin in mtf but not succeed. :/
Both are using volume in calculation, but as far as I remember, the "correct" is using the correct formula to calculate Chaikin money flow value (see some more info at this post : https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/general
Will try to find the document where it is described how the Chaikin money flow has to be calculated though
yes I've read the post about the correct (incredible work!). you're right, both with volume but I mean divided by range (correct) and by volume (chalkin). I would like to compare both in big time frames to study this difference in calculation.
can u help me?
This is a multi time frame version of chaikin oscllator

many thanks man! you're great!
Multi time frame version of modified AMA STL indicator. To get same values as the original AMA STL, set the PriceMaPeriod to 1, but it seems that this indicator works better (faster response to price changes) when price is filtered with a mild average. Default average for that purpose used is ema

Might take this indicator (macd_colored_v104) and convert it to mtf, with all its functions.
I would greatly appreciate it.
So glad I found this thread, I do not know what I doing. Please make MTF !
Bjwine06, would need the source code(mt4) to be able to add mtf.
It came with this one, not sure if you can construct it from this?
