Price Patterns(Gartley,Butterfly,Bat,...) - page 51

Mrtools

How we calculate the objective of such patterns?...where we can

put the stop loss.

Thanks

Poruchik, don't you find zup condition requirements too "loose" ? I found some retracement conditions are to wide. I don't know how to set it for each kind of patterns, there seems to be min max value only for gartley pattern. Can you please explain how to set conditions for butterfly, bat and crab?

I use ZUP 76-5\0 & 92

I am struggling downloading zup92, it's me ofcourse I'm computer stupid, I have downloaded many indys but every now and then I stumble, for now I have zup90 / korharmonic.

The gbp/usd on the weekly is showing a bullish bat, would this still be a valid longer term view, if so, for how long. If higher timeframes, say above 1hr are mainly bullish, in particular and in line with the weekly, do we avoid a bearish signal on the lower timeframes?

These harmonic patterns are making sense out of surface chaos...I have been reading about Martin A Armstrong (still in prison) who quotes Mandelbrot, Gann, Elliot etc., I think it would be useful to repeat here what he was saying many years ago "Surface chaos = in reality, high complex order. Mandelbrot reduced this to a mathematical world. (From which, people with no trading experience were then hired as "quants" on Wall Street who took the world of abstract maths and tried to then reduce the markets to a mathematical solution packed into a single equation; note these efforts produced Orange County California bankruptcy where Merill got sued $1billion. Problem was Wall St turned to Quants"

He saw in the 70's the intraday patterns would migrate to the daily/weekly/monthly/yearly and centuries always seeing the same patterns appearing, he created a computer model with pi cycles 8.6 years, were/are highly accurate.

The latest from Armstrong (from prison) is this: if the gbp/usd reaches and closes on the monthly t/f above 1.6377 buy! Also, the next 8.6 cycle is 18th June 2011.

Reading about him and others also led me to the harmonic pattern/cycle way of thinking, check him out.

Hi Everyone

1) Is it possible in zup v92 to change the alerts to english please ?

2) Also is it nesscary to have all the indicators that come with the zup v92 zip file installed or can you just use zup v92 indicator on its own to clean up the charts a bit ?

Many Thanks

newdigital:
latest ZUP version?

Poruchik (as far as I know - he is from onix forumk and he is inside Nen's development group) posted version 89 here:

https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/173439/page30

GreatYves posted version 90 here:

https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/173439/page31

I just looked at Nen's thread in onix forum here (many our members are posting on this thread in english as I see) and I found the latest version as 92 (attached here with all the indicators).

Because what I am doing - I am just editing the post of kamyar here https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/178120 to keep the record of all the versions (because kamyar started this section on our forum).

As to how to use it - poruchik posted the link to webinar on some earlier post, or he can reply. Or just go to onix forum and ask the authors directly. It may be good to use online translator for this thread for example.

Could anybody give the ling to Webinar on ZUP, please. Couldnot find with search. Thanks Ronyboy

It is on this post https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/173439/page32 from the authors, or just download from here.

Some people participated on some other webinars and discussed it here but I have no idea about sorry.
