EURUSD Spike
14:38 EUR/USD: Spikes Up as Russian FinMin Questions USD Reserve Role] Boston,
April 21: The USD"s future as the reserve currency is coming under question
again late this morning in the wake of the Swedish reserve shift as Russian
FinMin Kudrin says the USD is not the absolute reserve currency. He also says
global trade could affect the USD"s reserve status going forward. EUR/USD
stuttered in the upper 1.2330s before absorbing offers and heading up to New
York highs of 1.2342. Offers are seen in the 1.2350/70 zone, dealers say. Some
of the 1.2400 barriers have rolled off, so defense of that level may be less
stout this time than earlier in the week. /rs
I got it from my trading station. FXCM news feeding to the trading station
What a day - see were we are! The Russians and Swedes would not be the only ones which will tell this.
@ Harold
Please have a look at my chart. In the situation yesterday, I have a short signal in cable, the 3 Stepma`s don`t let me out.

Hi chatterhand.
Which metatrader broker are you using?
Thanks
Hi,
good day, closed my euro short since yesterday at 1.2315 just at the cross of 50ema and a green bar in histogram, then later saw the big candle crossing it and got scared to take such a trade, hope no one got caught with those moves today in euro or cable, nice weekend to all.

A newbie question: I don't understand why the ema50 can't stay above the ema120. Does this just relate to these pairs today and the patterns that are forming?
' ...we have EMA50 above EMA120 on EURUSD, GBPUSD and USDCHF. This can not last long especially for EURUSD/USDCHF.' Quote by Nina.
Forgive me but how do you quote part of a message (as above) without quoting the whole of the message.

Because we trade pairs and there are correlations between pairs. You won't see very often EURUSD and USDCHF going up together. We have discussed that earlier.
So and again, we will not see for long EMA50 on both pairs above EMA120.
