Smoothed Rsi Inverse Fisher Transform from here: https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/173169/page15 updated to be compatible with new mt4 builds.

Demos6:
Hello everyone.

is it possible to create a version of this indicator, with slope direction color?

Thanks in advance.

Demos

Use this one instead. It is a bit downgraded version of this indicator : https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/general (does not have all the things that the elite section version has) but it is a correct Sylvain Vervoorts version of indicator with features that the original does not have (see this post for more explanation of the indicator itself : https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/general ) and is a multi time frame version already

updated version posted here: https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/173169

hi mladen, i'm new to this indicator, when you say it's a good filter

does it mean for example if i have a TDI (traders dynamic index) cross down, if the inverse fisher is under 12, that would be the signal not to enter?

thanks

Where did I tell about that indicator (the "Smoothed Rsi Inverse Fisher Transform") that "it is a good filter"?

________________

PS : I do not trade TDI - since TDI is more or less two moving averages of the same RSI, my opinion that those averages crosses with the RSI are adding too much false signals for my taste (but then that is just my opinion - so in the case of TDI better to look sor some other source of information - maybe the best to use the Mark Douglas' document where he describes how he imagined how it should be used - here is his document explaining it : tdi.pdf)

Yes, Rainbow WMA seems to be quite good for filtering. Mel Widner did a very good job when he invented it. It maybe lacks the flexibility of adaptive indicators but all in all, compared to others, it is very good

i believe you were replying about the fisher but turns out it's the rainbow wma, is it completely different to the fisher?

They are completely different sort of indicators

Here is a document by John Ehlers describing it : the_inverse_fisher_transform.pdf
