Sorry Mladen,
Reviewing the the indicator that I was thinking, I saw it was not a adaptive rsi but ma adaptive based on RSI, is a good indicator , nice for trend direction, many times even can uses for s/r sorry, for the bother.
But your idea seems nice using an adaptive RSX.
Thanks you for your time.Demos6,
Posted one possible way of adapting rsi (sine adapting can be done in many ways, this one is using standard deviation for adapting) here : https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/178733/page29
Thanks Mladen,
I will check that indicator.
Hello everyone.
is it possible to create a version of this indicator, with slope direction color?
Thanks in advance.
Demos Use this one instead. It is a bit downgraded version of this indicator : https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/general (does not have all the things that the elite section version has) but it is a correct Sylvain Vervoorts version of indicator with features that the original does not have (see this post for more explanation of the indicator itself : https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/general ) and is a multi time frame version already
Thanks for this indicator, it seems that the rainbow MA does a good job smoothing.

Yes, Rainbow WMA seems to be quite good for filtering. Mel Widner did a very good job when he invented it. It maybe lacks the flexibility of adaptive indicators but all in all, compared to others, it is very good

Is there a public version of rainbow WMA?

Use this one
To have the same values as Sylvain Vervoort is using set the length to 2. See how smoothed fisher with rsi period set to 15 and rwma period set to 5 compare to the rwma using length 5 (the variable length is an upgrade compared to the original since the original could calculate only length 2 - this version can not calculate different depths of calculation - that is the difference compared to the elite section version)
