An other trend indicator written by russians based on the idea from the Forex Magazine #58. Blue line is Trend Detection Index (trend strength), red - Direction Indicator.

I am looking for an indicator can show the trends and there strenth?

 

I think trendlines are a great way of identifying the market direction. Understanding the direction of an underlying trend is one of the most basic ways to increase the probability of making a successful trade because it ensures that the general market forces are working in your favor. Many technical traders draw trendlines to identify an uptrend or a downtrend and will use this tool as a guide for when to sell as it can also be an early indication of a trend reversal. The break below an uptrend line is in itself a sell signal, attracting new sellers to the market.

How to call this trend indicator from EA ?

I am trying to use this Instant trendline indicator from my EA. How do I use the iCustom call to get the value ?

i wonder if there is any histogram that we can input several MA, let's say

EMA 21, EMA 34, EMA 55, EMA 89

if EMA 21 > EMA 34 > EMA 55 > EMA 89

the histogram will show uptrend

if EMA 21 > EMA 34 > EMA 55 > EMA 89

the histogram will show downtrend

other histogram wil show no trend

somebody can advise me, please ?

4 MA Trend

This is not my indicator but I got it from another forum on a thread

I am trading and I love this indicator!

Great MA Trend indicator.. I am not sure

of the MA settings 0 is standard SMA, 1 is EMA

not sure of the rest but its in the code I am sure.
