Risk Lot Panel is a small on-chart panel that calculates the position size for a given risk and stop-loss distance. It answers the question every trader asks before an entry: how many lots can I open if I want to risk exactly this amount?
The calculation uses the broker's own contract data (tick size and loss-side tick value), so the result follows each symbol's contract specification and the account currency. It works the same on forex, metals, indices and crypto.
- Risk modes: % of balance, % of equity or a fixed amount in account currency.
- The lot is rounded down to the broker volume step and limited to the minimum and maximum volume.
- Shows the real money at risk after rounding and warns when the minimum lot already exceeds your risk.
- Shows the current spread. No trading and no buffers: the indicator only reads data and draws labels.
Inputs
- Risk mode: % of balance, % of equity or fixed money.
- Risk value: the percentage or the amount, depending on the mode.
- Stop-loss distance (points): distance from entry to stop loss.
- Panel corner, X/Y offsets, text and background colours.
Example (screenshot): a risk of 100 USD with a 300-point stop on EURUSD gives 0.33 lots, with a real risk of 99 USD after rounding.
