The Rule You Cannot Break: Daily Loss Limits, Drawdown Locks and News Locks

Every trader has a number they promise never to cross. The problem is not knowing it. The problem is the fourth trade after a bad morning.

All In One Trade Management Panel's Account protection turns your rules into limits the panel enforces. It covers the panel's own trades, and it is off until you switch it on.

Limits you can set

• Daily loss limit, as a percentage of the day's starting balance or as a money amount.
• Daily profit target, in the same two ways.
• Maximum drawdown, measured from the equity peak or from a starting balance you choose.
• Maximum open trades at once.
• Maximum new trades per day.

When a limit is hit, new trades are blocked and the panel's trades can be closed. You choose the day's start hour in server time. A drawdown lock stays until you press Reset drawdown lock, so a bad day cannot quietly unlock itself.

The protection levels window lets you change the numbers without touching the inputs. Your protection lines also appear on the equity curve, so you can see how much room is left.

Rules for the clock

• Time rules: close the panel's trades, or move them to breakeven, at a set server time every day and on Friday.
• News lock: block new trades from a set number of minutes before to a set number of minutes after high-impact news (or medium and high) for the chart's currencies. It can also move this chart's trades to breakeven or close them when the lock starts.

Stay informed without staring at the screen

Push and Telegram notifications cover trades opened, trades closed, breakeven, partial closes, protection limits and time or news actions. Each kind has its own switch. Telegram needs a one-time permission for its web address in MetaTrader 5's Expert Advisor options.

A stop loss protects one trade. These limits protect the whole day.
