HyperVirtual MT5: Aggressive or Safe — Which Profile Fits Your Gold Trading?
HyperVirtual MT5 now comes with two built-in trading profiles: Aggressive and Safe. Both run the same Virtual-First engine on XAUUSD M1 — the difference is when and how strictly the EA allows a Virtual Basket to be promoted to real trading.
You switch between them with a single input, Profile_Mode. No settings file, no session tables, no manual tuning.
What the two profiles have in common
- Every cycle starts as a Virtual Basket inside the EA — no real money is used to "test" a signal.
- Only cycles that pass the activation filter are promoted to a Live Basket.
- Trading sessions follow the gold market clock automatically, independent of your PC clock or your broker's server time.
- Same money management, same Basket TP, same risk controls.
Aggressive profile
Aggressive trades across more market hours and activates earlier during the most active parts of the day. More cycles reach the Live Basket, so the profit potential is higher — and so is the depth a cycle can reach before it closes.
Safe profile
Safe uses fewer, stricter time windows and demands stronger qualification before going live. It trades less often, but every cycle is kept shallow. Safe was built around one rule: no single cycle should draw down more than about $10 at the base lot size.

Which one should you choose?
- Choose Safe if you want the smoothest equity curve, are running a small account, or simply prefer that no single cycle goes deep.
- Choose Aggressive if your priority is growth and you are comfortable with deeper (but still controlled) cycles.
- Not sure? Run both in the Strategy Tester on the same period and compare the reports yourself.
How to test both profiles
- Install the free HyperVirtual demo from the product page.
- Open the Strategy Tester (Ctrl+R) → HyperVirtual → XAUUSD, M1, "Every tick based on real ticks".
- In the Inputs tab, double-click Profile_Mode and choose Aggressive or Safe.
- Press Start — then repeat with the other profile.
Note: the "Default" option of Profile_Mode is only for platform validation — always pick Aggressive or Safe.
