CopyDeck Trade Copier – Installation Guide

Before you start

• All terminals must run on the same Windows PC or VPS, under the same Windows user. CopyDeck copies locally through MetaTrader's shared Common folder; no DLLs and no external server are used.
• Use the MT5 version in MetaTrader 5 terminals and the MT4 version in MetaTrader 4 terminals. With both, you can copy MT4 → MT5, MT5 → MT4, MT4 → MT4 and MT5 → MT5.
• MT5 receiver accounts must use hedging mode. The transmitter works on any account type.

Step 1: Install

• Bought on the Market: the EA installs automatically and appears in the Navigator under Expert Advisors → Market.
• Demo: copy the file into MQL5\Experts or MQL4\Experts (File → Open Data Folder), then refresh the Navigator.

Step 2: Allow algorithmic trading (receiver terminals)

• MT5: click Algo Trading in the toolbar (it turns green). When attaching the EA, tick Allow Algo Trading in the Common tab.
• MT4: click AutoTrading in the toolbar. When attaching the EA, tick Allow live trading in the Common tab.

The transmitter only reads trades and never places them, so it also works on an investor (read-only) login.

Step 3: Set up the transmitter (the account you copy FROM)

1. Open any chart in the terminal of the source account.
2. Drag CopyDeck onto the chart.
3. In Inputs, set Mode = Transmitter and choose your Language, then click OK.
4. The dashboard shows the transmitter status. The Receivers tab later lists every receiver connected to it.

Step 4: Set up the receiver (the account you copy TO)

1. Open any chart in the terminal of the destination account.
2. Drag CopyDeck onto the chart and set Mode = Receiver.
3. On the dashboard, click the dropdown and select the transmitter (shown as account number, platform and online/offline).
4. Press START. The status changes to Connected, and new trades on the transmitter are copied.

More accounts

• More receivers: repeat Step 4 in every receiver terminal. Each receiver has its own settings.
• More transmitters: repeat Step 3 in each source terminal. Each receiver selects one transmitter.
• Several receivers on the same account (copying different transmitters): attach CopyDeck on separate charts. Each gets its own Receiver ID automatically, shown on the dashboard and in the Settings tab.

Tips

• Keep all terminals running. A Windows VPS is ideal for 24/7 copying.
• MT4 news filter only: add the news url (will be displayed on the dashboard) under Tools → Options → Expert Advisors → Allow WebRequest for listed URL.
• If the dashboard is too large or too small for your screen, change Dashboard size in the Settings tab.
