Performance Dashboard – User Guide

Getting Started

  1. Attach the indicator to any chart in MetaTrader 5.

  2. The dashboard will automatically load account statistics and trading analytics.

  3. Use Magic Number filters and date controls to analyze specific strategies or periods.

To modify settings:

  • Press Ctrl + I

  • Select Performance Dashboard

  • Click Properties

Input Parameters

SCAN_MODE

Defines how Magic Numbers are detected.

SCAN_AUTO

  • Automatically scans account history and detects active strategies.

SCAN_MANUAL

  • Allows manual input of specific Magic Numbers.


Magic_Numbers

Comma-separated list of Magic Numbers used in MANUAL mode.

Example:

1001,1002,1005


Date_From

Start date for analysis.

Format:

YYYY.MM.DD HH:MM:SS


Date_To

End date for analysis.


Profit_by_Magic_Number

Controls profit display inside the Magic Info section.

ON

  • Shows profit for each strategy.

OFF

  • Shows strategy names only.


Include_Manual_Trades

Include trades with Magic Number 0.

ON

  • Manual trades are included in analysis.

OFF

  • Manual trades are ignored.


PanelX

Horizontal dashboard position.

PanelY

Vertical dashboard position.


Dashboard Controls

Strategy Controls

ALL

  • Enable all detected strategies.

NONE

  • Disable all strategies.

HIDE

  • Show only currently selected strategies.

Click any Magic Number button to enable or disable a specific strategy.


Results Modes

BASIC

  • Displays essential performance metrics.

EXTENDED

  • Displays the full analytics set.


Quick Date Filters

TODAY

  • Current trading day.

WEEK

  • Current week.

MONTH

  • Current month.

YEAR

  • Current year.

RANGE

  • Uses the custom Date_From and Date_To values.


    Notes

    • Works with real MT5 account history.

    • For best results, ensure full account history is loaded.

    • Some metrics require a sufficient number of trades for meaningful results.

    • Correct Magic Number usage is recommended for accurate strategy identification.
