Why Panoptic

Most traders keep ten charts open, add the same indicators again and again, and still miss the one market that is doing something special. Panoptic does that work for you, in one calm window. For every market on your list it tells you:

  • Trend: what it is doing on M5, M15, H1 and D1
  • Stretch: whether momentum, volatility or volume is stretched
  • Unusual: which readings are rare compared with the last six months of the same market
  • Levels: where the nearest support and resistance sit, and how often they were tested

"Unusual" is the heart of it

An RSI of 32 means little on its own: it can be ordinary for one market and rare for another. Panoptic compares every reading with six months of history of the same market and timeframe, and marks it when it sits in the outer 10 %, for example "bottom 3% of last 6 mo". That is the context a normal chart never gives you.

Three ways to look at your markets

  • Cards: full detail per market: price, trend badge, three plain-language sentences, a chart with levels and volume profile, and indicator rows
  • Compact: one line per market with the summary and the unusual readings as chips (key C)
  • List: every market on one screen with price, change, trend arrows, unusual count, relative volume and correlation (key L)

Above the cards, one line sums up your whole list, such as "Broad decline, markets moving together", with breadth on H1 and D1, the Tokyo, London and New York sessions, and a correlation table.

What most dashboards do not give you

  • Every indicator judged against its own six-month history, with the exact percentile
  • Plain-English sentences instead of just numbers
  • A note when markets suddenly move together more than usual
  • Structural support and resistance from six months of H4 swings, with test counts, plus volume profile and POC
  • Calm alerts: economic events 15, 30 or 60 minutes ahead, and an unusual reading only once, when it reaches the outer 5 %
  • A chart tooltip with time, open, high, low, close, change and volume per bar

26 indicators, you choose which ones you see

  • Trend: distance to EMA, EMA9/21 cross, VWAP, ADX, MACD (12,26,9 and 5,15,9), efficiency ratio, SMA 50/200, Ichimoku cloud, Donchian (20)
  • Momentum: RSI(14), RSI(9), RSI(4), RSI divergence, Stochastic %K, RSI slope, CCI(20)
  • Volatility: ATR ratio, Bollinger width, Keltner width, realized volatility ratio
  • Volume: RVOL by time of day, On-Balance Volume, volume profile (POC), Money Flow Index (14), Chaikin Money Flow (20)

Five are shown by default; tick the others in Settings. All 26 are always calculated, so unusual readings are never missed.

Your markets, your way

  • Any symbol your broker offers: indices, forex, metals, energy, stocks, crypto. Broker names and suffixes are recognised automatically.
  • The Show menu groups everything by region, asset type and your own groups. Pin, rename, reorder or hide a market without removing it.
  • Seven themes from white to black, line or candles, text size, and a transparent background over your chart.
  • Keyboard shortcuts, export to JSON, CSV or PNG, and a light calculation mode for slower computers and a VPS.

Works well with Pentad Multi Strategy EA

Panoptic shows the context of your markets; it does not trade. To test rules against every cost and trade them with layered risk control, see Pentad Multi Strategy EA. Two separate products; each works on its own.

Up and running in two minutes

  1. Drag Panoptic onto any chart and press OK. The chart's own symbol does not matter.
  2. Wait for the first round. MetaTrader loads about six months of history per market, and the cards fill themselves in.
  3. Make it yours in Settings: add symbols under Markets and pick a theme under Display.

The full user manual (PDF) and a two-page quick start are attached in the Comments tab.

Specifications

  • Type: indicator in the chart window; does not trade
  • Platform: MetaTrader 5 desktop; runs while the terminal is open
  • Markets: any symbol of your broker; default list of nine index CFDs
  • Timeframes: M1, M5, M15, M30, H1, H4 and D1 per market
  • History: about six months for percentiles and levels (1 to 24 months adjustable)
  • Data: your broker's prices and MetaTrader's economic calendar; no external feeds, no DLLs, no web requests
  • Language: English interface and manual

Good to know

  • Free demo: runs in the Strategy Tester, fine for a first look at layout, views and settings. The tester has no live calendar or spread, so event alerts and spread levels only work on live charts.
  • Volume indicators use tick volume unless your broker supplies real volume, so readings can differ per broker.
  • Exchange holidays come from the MetaTrader calendar for Japan, the UK and the US; early closes are not shown.
  • MetaTrader 5 only; no MT4 or mobile version. Custom or external indicators cannot be loaded.

Important

Panoptic Market Dashboard is a descriptive tool. It shows indicator readings and their history; it is not advice, not a forecast and not a trade signal. Trading leveraged products carries a high risk of losing money, and past behaviour of markets and indicators does not guarantee future behaviour. Questions are answered in the comments and private messages on this site.
