Rubber Band
Trade the snap-back, not the chase.
Every market is tied to its average by an invisible rubber band. Price can run away from it, but the further it goes, the harder the band pulls it back. Most traders chase those runaway moves and get caught when the band snaps.
Rubber Band makes that tension visible and tells you when the snap-back begins.
How it works
Rubber Band measures how far price has stretched from its average, relative to the market's normal volatility. That makes the same reading meaningful on any pair and any timeframe.
- Relaxed. Price is close to its average. Nothing to do.
- Overstretched. Price has moved unusually far away. The band is armed.
- SNAP! The first clear reversal candle back toward the average fires a BUY or SELL signal.
You get one signal per stretch. After a snap, the band has to relax before it can fire again. This keeps your chart from filling up with arrows, and it stops you from repeatedly trading against a strong trend.

Signals
- Clear BUY and SELL arrows, only when a real snap-back begins
- Signals are rare on purpose: they wait for extreme stretches, not everyday noise
- No repainting: a signal appears when the candle closes and never moves or disappears
- A suggested stop beyond the extreme of the stretch, and a natural target back at the average (band), or a fixed risk-to-reward ratio if you prefer
Visual band on the chart
- The average is drawn as a clean line, and colored "strands" connect it to price
- The color shows the tension: gray when relaxed, then yellow, orange and glowing red as the band stretches
- At each signal, the band visibly breaks apart with a "SNAP!" tag and a pointer back to the target
Live dashboard
- Pair, timeframe and live price, which flashes blue or red with each tick
- Spread in pips, colored green, orange or red so you can see at a glance whether trading conditions are good
- A countdown to the next candle, which keeps running every second and turns orange in the last minute
- The active trading session: Asia, London, New York, or an overlap
- The current volatility (ATR) in pips
- Tension across four timeframes (M15, H1, H4 and D1 by default), each with its own mini-meter, plus a line telling you whether all of them are on the same side of the average
- Band state, in plain words: ready, armed and watching for a snap, or reloading
- Last signal: its direction, how long ago it fired, and whether it's still running, reached its target or was stopped out
- Tension meter with a live needle, red danger zones and markers showing the biggest stretch in the chart's history
