DOUBLEorNOTHING Growth is the continuous accumulation version of the DOUBLEorNOTHING family, designed to trade Gold / XAUUSD automatically using a high-risk basket and recovery approach.
The main idea behind DOUBLEorNOTHING is simple: recovery strategies can experience significant drawdowns, so instead of hiding that risk, each version defines a clear way to manage active capital and accumulated profits.
In the Growth version, the priority is account growth.
How it works
The EA identifies Gold trading opportunities using its internal technical entry logic and opens the first position using the user-defined BaseLot.
If the market moves against the initial position, the EA may add recovery levels according to its predefined progression. The complete basket is managed as one structure and is closed when the recovery target calculated by the system is reached.
Trading is fully automated.
The user can choose the starting lot, for example:
- 0.01
- 0.02
- 0.05
- 0.10
The complete position ladder scales proportionally from this value.
What makes Growth different
DOUBLEorNOTHING Growth does not use automatic profit harvesting.
All realized profit remains part of the active trading capital.
Example:
If an account starts with 1,000 units and grows to 1,500, the full 1,500 remains available to the strategy.
If the account later reaches 2,000, the complete balance remains active.
The concept is to allow accumulated profits to progressively create a larger capital buffer that may help the account withstand larger market fluctuations and deeper recovery baskets.
For this reason, Growth is the DOUBLEorNOTHING version focused most strongly on accumulation and compounding.
Market-close protection
The EA reads the trading-session information provided by the broker.
By default, no new basket is started during the final 30 minutes before the trading session closes.
If a basket is already open, the EA does not force-close it simply because the session is approaching its end. Normal basket management continues.
Important risk information
DOUBLEorNOTHING Growth is a high-risk strategy.
Recovery trading and progressively increasing exposure can produce significant drawdowns and may result in the complete loss of the capital used.
Keeping realized profits active can increase the account's ability to withstand future baskets, but it also means those accumulated profits remain exposed to future trading risk.
Testing in the Strategy Tester and on a demo account is strongly recommended before considering live trading.
