Trend Cue Basket Manager

Trend Cue Basket Manager is a semi-automatic basket management utility for MT5 hedging accounts.

The idea is very simple:

You open the first trade manually.
Trend Cue Basket Manager manages the basket after entry.

It does not give buy or sell signals by itself.
It does not choose the market direction for you.
It does not open the first trade automatically.

The first decision is always yours.

After you open the first manual trade, the utility detects it and starts managing the position group based on your settings.

Trend Cue Basket Manager helps manage the trade after your first manual entry.

It can manage:

basket take profit,
average price,
optional grid entries,
grid step distance,
maximum number of trades,
spread filter,
basket drawdown control,
portfolio drawdown control,
basket closing logic,
and the full position group.

The goal is not to add trades randomly.

The goal is to manage the whole trade idea with structure after the first manual entry.

Step 1 — You Open the First Trade

You open the first trade manually.

This trade can be based on your own strategy, market analysis, or an indicator such as TrendCue Smart Trend.

Step 2 — Basket Manager Detects the Trade

After the first manual trade is opened, Trend Cue Basket Manager detects it and places it inside its basket logic.

Step 3 — Basket Manager Manages the Basket

After the trade is detected, the utility starts managing the position group.

If price moves toward the target, the basket can be closed at TP.

If price pulls back, the utility can manage the basket according to your settings.

If grid is enabled, it can add same-direction positions based on specific ATR grid spacing.

If drawdown reaches your defined limit, the utility can close the basket to help protect the account.

Many traders can find a good direction.

The difficult part often starts after entry.

Price does not always move perfectly from the first trade.

Sometimes the first entry is early.
Sometimes price pulls back.
Sometimes the trade idea is still valid, but the position needs management.
Sometimes the trader closes too early.
Sometimes the trader adds positions emotionally.

Trend Cue Basket Manager is designed to help manage this process with rules.

It manages the basket as one position group instead of forcing the trader to manage every single trade manually.

Manual First Entry

The trader opens the first trade manually.

Trend Cue Basket Manager does not replace market analysis.

Automatic Basket Detection

After the first manual trade is opened, the utility detects it and starts managing it.

Same-Direction Manual Additions

If you open another manual trade in the same direction on the same symbol, the utility can absorb it into the same basket.

For example:

If you start a Buy basket, additional Buy trades can be managed inside that basket.

If you start a Sell basket, additional Sell trades can be managed inside that basket.

The utility manages one direction per symbol.

It does not mix Buy and Sell trades inside the same basket.

If your view changes, it is better to close the current basket first and then consider a new trade in the opposite direction.

Basket Take Profit

The utility can manage TP for the whole basket.

The target can be based on the basket logic instead of treating every position as a separate trade.

Normal and Conservative TP Modes

The utility includes different TP management styles.

Normal mode can use server-side TP logic.

Conservative mode can manage the basket using the combined floating profit of the position group.

Average Price Management

When more trades are added, the utility manages the basket around the average price.

This helps the trader focus on the whole trade idea instead of each single position.

Optional ATR-Based Grid

Grid can be turned ON or OFF.

When grid is ON, the utility can add same-direction positions if price moves against the basket by the selected ATR-based distance.

Grid spacing can be adjusted using the selected Grid ATR timeframe and multiplier.

Grid ON Mode

Grid ON is useful when you want the utility to manage additional entries automatically according to the settings.

This mode requires careful lot size and drawdown planning.

Grid OFF Mode

Grid OFF means no automatic grid entries.

You stay in full control of additional entries.

If you add another same-direction trade manually, the utility can still manage it inside the basket.

Max Trades Control

You can define the maximum number of trades allowed in one basket.

This helps prevent uncontrolled position accumulation.

Spread Filter

The utility can block new grid entries when spread is too high.

This is important for scalping, volatile markets, and news conditions.

Symbol Drawdown Control

You can set a drawdown limit for the current symbol.

If the basket loss reaches that limit, the utility can close the basket.

Portfolio Drawdown Control

You can also set a drawdown limit for the whole account.

This helps protect the account if multiple positions or symbols are open.

ATR-Based TP Timeframe

You can choose the timeframe used for TP calculation.

A lower timeframe gives tighter targets.

A higher timeframe gives wider targets.

ATR-Based Grid Timeframe

You can choose the timeframe used for grid spacing.

A higher timeframe gives wider grid steps.

A lower timeframe gives tighter grid steps.

Volatility Snapshot

When a new basket starts, the utility snapshots the current ATR/volatility conditions.

This helps keep TP and grid management more stable during the life of the basket.

Same Lot Grid Logic

Grid entries use the same lot size as the first trade.

There is no automatic martingale lot multiplication.

This helps keep the basket logic cleaner and easier to understand.

On-Chart Panel

The utility includes a chart panel.

The panel can show:

basket status,
basket direction,
base lot,
number of trades,
TP distance,
grid step,
basket profit/loss,
average price,
and control buttons.

Close All Button

The panel includes a Close All button.

This allows the trader to manually close the active basket when needed.
