Overview
RSI Gold Matrix is a high-precision Expert Advisor designed exclusively for trading spot gold (XAU/USD) on MetaTrader 5. It combines the power of the Relative Strength Index (RSI) with Bollinger Bands to identify trend reversal and continuation zones, executing trades via a pending order grid with advanced risk management.
Its intelligent architecture filters entries based on market conditions: buys when the RSI bounces from oversold zones with the price touching the lower band, and sells when the RSI falls from overbought zones with the price above the upper band. This allows you to capitalize on the most explosive gold movements without overexposing yourself in sideways markets.
Indicators and Signal Logic
RSI (14-period): Filters buys when the RSI rises above 30 from below or is in bullish territory (50–70), and sells when it falls below 70 or is in bearish territory (30–50).
Bollinger Bands (20-period, 2.0 standard deviation): Buy entries are confirmed near the lower band or above the moving average; sells, near the upper band or below the moving average.
Pending Order Grid (Buy Stop/Sell Stop): The EA places up to 5 orders in each direction within a configurable maximum distance from the current price.
Risk Management and Capital Protection
Fixed Stop Loss per trade, configurable in pips.
Automatic position closure upon reaching the profit target in pips (AutoClose).
Dynamic Trailing Stop with Aggressive Mode: As the position gains, the trailing stop adjusts in shorter increments to protect profits. Automatic Break Even: Once the configured threshold is reached, the stop loss moves to the entry price.
Maximum Spread Filter: The EA will not trade if the spread exceeds the configured value, protecting against low liquidity conditions.
