How it works

The robot opens positions on its own entry signals, which come from an analysis of recent price action and the market’s current range. When the market moves against the first entry, the robot can build a basket of positions. New orders are added at adaptive distances that follow current volatility, and order volumes are scaled to improve the basket’s average price. The whole basket is managed as one unit: a common exit target is recalculated after every change, and all positions close together when it is reached. The robot trades only inside a set daily window. When the window ends, it closes all its positions, so nothing is carried into the closed session.

Before every request to the broker, the robot checks free margin, volume limits, minimum stop distances, freeze levels and whether trading is allowed. This prevents invalid requests and broker errors.

Interface

A detailed information panel on the chart shows the trading statistics, results by period, the state of the current basket and the parameters of the next trade. This gives you everything you need to analyse the robot’s work accurately and in detail.

Input parameters

• Lots – volume of the first order in a basket. This is the main setting for overall risk. All later order volumes are calculated from it.
• LotExponent – multiplier applied to the volume of each new order in a basket. Higher values bring the average price back faster but increase total exposure.
• MaxTrades – maximum number of orders in one basket. It limits how much total volume the robot can build.
• TakeProfit – distance in points from the basket’s average price to the common exit target. Smaller values close baskets faster and more often. Larger values aim for more profit per basket.
• DefaultPips – base distance in points between orders in a basket. The robot adapts the actual distance to volatility within limits set around this value.
• Glubina – number of bars analysed to measure the current market range. It affects how the robot adapts to volatility.
• DEL – adaptation factor. It sets how wide the allowed range around DefaultPips is and how strongly the measured range affects order spacing.
• StartHour / EndHour – trading window in broker server time. Outside the window the robot opens no new trades and closes its open positions.
• Magic – unique ID of the robot’s orders. Change it if you run several copies on one account.

Key parameters to tune

• Lots – scale it to your deposit. This is the simplest way to set your risk level.
• LotExponent and MaxTrades – together they set how aggressive the robot is. Lower values give a more conservative profile with lower peak exposure. Higher values give faster recovery at higher risk.
• TakeProfit and DefaultPips – tune these to the current volatility of gold. In a calm market, smaller values give a higher trading frequency. In a volatile market, larger values give more room.
• StartHour / EndHour – limit trading to the hours with the best liquidity and spreads at your broker.
