Real CRT Gold MT5 translates a specific Candle Range Theory model into defined trading rules. It connects the reference candle range, the sweep and reclaim, lower-timeframe structure confirmation and a fresh fair value gap entry.
The strategy evaluates the relationship between these conditions before committing to a trade. Position management then follows the same structural framework, using the sweep for initial protection and the reference range for its target.
Developed through AI-assisted research and engineering, Real CRT provides a repeatable implementation of the selected CRT model for gold.
What defines Real CRT?
- No grid entries—no ladder of recovery orders added against an adverse move.
- No martingale sizing—no lot multiplication after losses.
- No loss-recovery lot escalation—position size does not increase to chase previous losses.
- No random-number-generated entries—trading decisions follow defined market conditions.

The reviewed frozen strategy contains no identified hard-coded calendar-date blacklist. Broker trading sessions, valid history, signal freshness and setup-expiry conditions still apply.

AI-assisted development with a defined purpose
A discretionary trading explanation can leave important decisions open: which sweep qualifies, when confirmation becomes available, whether a gap is fresh, when an entry becomes stale and how protection should change after entry.
Real CRT was developed through AI-assisted research, rule formalization, source review, engineering checks and historical Strategy Tester comparisons.
The work focused on making the selected CRT interpretation explicit and reproducible. The packaged release was compared with its protected strategy reference, and historical runs were repeated to check that the delivered build preserved the intended behavior.
AI assisted development. The EA itself executes predefined MQL5 rules. It does not claim human understanding, continuous self-training or knowledge of other traders’ intentions.
How Real CRT trades
1. Establish the H1 reference range
The reference candle’s high and low define the framework for the setup and its structural objective.
2. Identify the sweep and reclaim
The model requires a completed H1 sweep/reclaim condition. Price moving beyond a boundary is one part of the sequence—not a complete entry signal.
3. Confirm M5 market structure
A qualifying lower-timeframe market structure shift is required before the entry sequence can proceed.
4. Define the fresh FVG entry
The selected model uses a fresh post-sweep fair value gap, with entry at the fixed 37.5% execution depth. Additional eligibility checks apply; every visible gap does not produce an order.
5. Apply structural position management
The initial stop uses the sweep structure with a 0.1 ATR offset. The opposite boundary of the reference candle is the full-position target.
Reaching the reference range midpoint activates confirmed M5 swing-protection logic. It does not automatically close part of the position.
Real CRT implements this specific CRT interpretation. It does not reproduce every discretionary variation or every contextual judgment a human trader might make.
Selective execution and simple controls
Real CRT’s H1/M5 strategy configuration is fixed in this release. Five customer inputs control practical operation:

The EA checks for existing positions and pending orders on the same symbol before admitting a new entry.
Chart visualization is embedded, so a separate indicator installation is not required.
Historical testing and disclosure
The following final-build comparisons used XAUUSD+_DUKAS custom gold data, a USD 1,000 starting balance, fixed 0.01 lots, real-tick modeling and a recorded 100 ms execution delay.

The protected control, packaged release and repeat agreed within each comparison.
Repeated runs establish reproducibility on the same sample. They do not create additional independent trades or prove future profitability.
These are historical simulations, not live-account results. The periods were research-exposed rather than untouched independent out-of-sample validation.
Losing periods remain part of the record: Q1 2025 lost USD 7.94, while Q4 earned USD 100.69. Broker data, costs, liquidity and execution can materially change outcomes.
Recommended setup and requirements
- Platform: MetaTrader 5.
- Instrument: your broker’s gold-versus-US-dollar symbol, normally XAUUSD or its broker-specific variant.
- Chart timeframe: M5. H1 setup analysis and M5 confirmation operate internally; no second chart is required.
- Preset: CRT_Gold_Default_1_10.set .
- Lot setting: the supplied and historically compared setting is 0.01 lots. Confirm monetary risk and margin requirements for your account before use.
- Capital reference: the disclosed comparisons used USD 1,000. A safe minimum live deposit has not been certified.
- Broker requirements: check contract size, volume minimum and step, spread plus commission, available margin and stop/freeze distances.
- Account compatibility: netting compatibility has not been certified. Avoid mixing manual or other-EA exposure on the same symbol.
- Connection: maintain a stable terminal or VPS connection for EA-managed trailing and pending-order cancellation.
- Deployment: use one instance per symbol. Keep the magic number unchanged while owned trades remain.
The preset’s spread cap is disabled by default. A suitable limit depends on the broker’s symbol specifications.
Installation and support
Install the EA, open the broker’s gold chart on M5 and load the supplied preset. Review the settings and contract specifications before enabling automated trading.
For installation or compatibility questions, contact the seller through MQL5 messages, including the exact symbol, timeframe and preset name. Do not send passwords or API keys.
Risk disclosure
Fixed lots produce different monetary risk as stop distance changes. The preset does not enforce a 30% account drawdown cutoff. Sufficient margin to open a position does not establish acceptable loss risk.
Gold and leveraged CFD trading can cause substantial losses, including loss of the account balance. Stops and trailing logic cannot guarantee maximum loss or execution price through gaps and slippage. Actual non-tester restart/reconnection recovery and netting compatibility remain uncertified.
