LumaForge Gold Mine
LumaForge Gold Mine is a fully automated MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor developed using Smart Money Concepts (SMC), multi-timeframe market structure, Fibonacci-based trading zones, liquidity analysis and adaptive trade management.
The EA was developed primarily for Gold (XAUUSD) and has also been tested on Volatility 80 (Vol80).
Unlike systems that depend on a single indicator or fixed entry pattern, LumaForge Gold Mine evaluates the relationship between external market structure, internal price behaviour and liquidity conditions before determining whether a trading opportunity meets its requirements.
Once attached to a chart and configured correctly, the EA automatically identifies potential setups, calculates entry levels, places pending orders, manages Stop Loss and Take Profit levels, adjusts position sizing and monitors active trades.
The system is designed to operate without manual trade execution.
RECOMMENDED TRADING CONFIGURATIONS
GOLD — XAUUSD
Broker: Exness
Recommended Starting Balance: $500

Results may vary between brokers because of differences in contract specifications, spreads, leverage, execution conditions and available liquidity.
HOW LUMAFORGE GOLD MINE TRADES
LumaForge Gold Mine combines three main components:
External Structure, Internal Structure and Liquidity.
These components work together to identify potential trading opportunities and determine when the EA is permitted to enter the market.
1. External Market Structure
The EA analyses broader market conditions across multiple timeframes to identify important price areas.
Fibonacci-based zones are used to represent relevant external market structures.
These zones provide the broader context for determining where price may encounter important buying or selling interest.
The EA evaluates the relationship between current price and these areas before considering potential entries.
External structure analysis also helps the system establish directional context and distinguish between opportunities aligned with broader market conditions and those requiring additional confirmation.
2. Internal Market Structure
Once a relevant external structure has been identified, the EA evaluates internal price behaviour.
Internal structure analysis allows the system to refine trading opportunities using lower-timeframe information rather than relying exclusively on higher-timeframe zones.
The EA examines changes in price behaviour, directional movement and qualifying structural conditions.
An external zone alone does not automatically trigger a trade.
The internal structure must satisfy the EA's entry requirements before a trading opportunity can proceed.
This combination allows LumaForge Gold Mine to analyse broader market conditions while refining entries using more detailed price information.
3. Liquidity Analysis
Liquidity plays an important role in the EA's trading decisions.
LumaForge Gold Mine evaluates relevant liquidity areas and their relationship to external and internal market structure.
The EA uses liquidity information as part of its setup-validation process.
A potential entry may be rejected when the required liquidity conditions are not present.
This additional analysis helps the EA distinguish between different market environments and avoid treating every price movement as an equally suitable trading opportunity.
MULTI-TIMEFRAME ANALYSIS
LumaForge Gold Mine uses a multi-timeframe approach to evaluate trading opportunities.
Higher timeframes provide broader directional context and external structure.
Lower timeframes are used to examine internal structure and refine execution.
The EA includes analysis across the following timeframes:
W1, D1, H4, H1, M15, M5 and M1.
The higher-timeframe bias system can be enabled or disabled through the available inputs.
This allows users to adjust how strictly lower-timeframe opportunities must align with broader market conditions.
The EA also contains specific controls for standalone lower-timeframe opportunities and setups associated with higher-timeframe structures.
AUTOMATED LIMIT ORDER EXECUTION
LumaForge Gold Mine uses pending Limit Orders for its primary entry execution.
When a valid setup is identified, the EA calculates the intended entry price and determines whether the required trading conditions are satisfied.
The EA can then place the appropriate Buy Limit or Sell Limit order.
The system does not need to enter immediately at the current market price.
Instead, it can wait for price to return to the calculated entry level.
Pending-order execution is supported by additional checks designed to prevent orders from being submitted at invalid prices or with unsuitable protective levels.
The EA also includes pending-order management functionality to remove orders that no longer meet certain conditions.
The primary entry system is based on Limit Orders.
DYNAMIC LOT SIZING
LumaForge Gold Mine includes dynamic position-sizing functionality.
Rather than using the same lot size for every trading opportunity, the EA can calculate position volume using its configured risk parameters, Stop Loss distance and account conditions.
The position-sizing system considers:
Account balance and available margin.
Configured risk settings.
Distance between entry and Stop Loss.
Broker minimum and maximum lot sizes.
Permitted volume increments.
Existing account exposure.
Margin requirements.
The EA also contains balance-dependent lot-sizing settings and maximum-position-size controls.
Margin Protection
Before accepting a calculated position size, the EA checks whether the proposed volume is compatible with the account's available margin.
If the calculated volume is too large, the system can reduce the proposed lot size.
If the minimum permitted volume cannot be supported, the trade is skipped.
The EA also monitors outstanding pending orders for affordability.
These safeguards are intended to reduce insufficient-margin order attempts, although broker execution conditions and changes in account equity can still affect order acceptance.
STOP LOSS AND TAKE PROFIT MANAGEMENT
LumaForge Gold Mine calculates protective levels using the structure of each trading opportunity.
Stop Loss placement considers the relevant zone boundaries and additional configurable buffers.
The EA also incorporates volatility measurements into selected protective-level calculations.
Take Profit levels are determined using the configured trade-management and reward-to-risk parameters.
Different trading conditions can use different target calculations.
The EA includes separate target multipliers for lower-timeframe and higher-timeframe opportunities.
Protective prices are checked against broker trading restrictions, including minimum stop distances and permitted price increments.
ATR-BASED TRAILING STOP
LumaForge Gold Mine includes an adaptive trailing-stop system based on the Average True Range (ATR).
ATR measures recent market volatility.
The EA uses this information to calculate trailing activation levels and trailing distances.
This allows the trailing system to respond to changing market conditions rather than relying entirely on one fixed trailing distance.
The trailing functionality includes configurable parameters for:
ATR Profit Multiplier — Controls the volatility-based profit threshold used to activate trailing.
ATR Trail Multiplier — Controls the volatility-based trailing distance.
Minimum Profit Distance — Establishes a minimum profit requirement before trailing begins.
Minimum Trailing Distance — Prevents the calculated trailing distance from falling below the configured minimum.
ATR Period — Determines the period used for volatility calculations.
The EA also includes differentiated trailing behaviour for particular internal-structure conditions.
These settings allow the system to apply different levels of trade protection depending on the type of opportunity being managed.
AUTOMATIC PARTIAL CLOSES
LumaForge Gold Mine includes partial position-closing functionality.
When qualifying conditions are satisfied, the EA can close a portion of an existing position while allowing the remaining volume to continue trading.
Partial-close behaviour is controlled through configurable parameters, including the fraction of the position to close and the minimum volume required.
The EA also contains additional partial-close rules associated with particular internal-structure conditions.
Partial closes are subject to broker volume requirements and the account's position-management capabilities.
SCALE-IN MANAGEMENT
LumaForge Gold Mine includes optional scale-in functionality.
When enabled, the EA can evaluate additional entries associated with an existing trading opportunity.
Scale-ins are controlled through settings that include:
Maximum Scale-Ins Per Move — Limits the number of additional entries associated with a qualifying move.
Scale-In Lot Factor — Controls the size of additional positions relative to the primary position.
Minimum Scale-In Distance — Defines the minimum distance required between the primary entry and a potential additional entry.
Maximum Scale-In Distance — Prevents additional entries beyond the configured distance.
Scale-In Risk Percentage — Controls the risk allocation associated with additional entries.
Scale-In Stop Loss Management — Determines whether an additional entry uses the primary Stop Loss or a separately calculated protective level.
The EA also includes aggregate-risk checks designed to restrict additional exposure under certain conditions.
Scale-in trading increases total market exposure and should be configured conservatively.
MARKET CONDITION FILTERS
LumaForge Gold Mine contains several filters that influence whether a trading opportunity is accepted.
These include:
ADX Filtering
The EA uses Average Directional Index measurements to assess market conditions.
Different ADX thresholds can be configured for standalone lower-timeframe opportunities and higher-timeframe-aligned setups.
Volume-Based Confirmation
The EA includes volume-related validation parameters that can contribute to its setup-selection process.
Higher-Timeframe Confluence
The system evaluates relationships between market structures across different timeframes.
Entry Quality Scoring
The EA includes a scoring mechanism that evaluates qualifying conditions before permitting an entry.
Countertrend Protection
Additional controls can restrict trading opportunities that conflict with broader directional conditions.
Trading Cooldowns
The EA can enforce waiting periods between trading activities or following certain outcomes.
Together, these controls determine when the system is permitted to act on a potential setup.
DAILY RISK MANAGEMENT
LumaForge Gold Mine includes daily account-protection settings.
These include configurable daily drawdown limits, maximum daily losses and daily profit-target controls.
The EA can restrict further trading when the relevant protection conditions are reached.
The system also contains safeguards for consecutive losing trades and configurable cooldown periods.
These settings are intended to limit further exposure under specified account conditions.
They cannot prevent losses that occur because of market gaps, slippage or other execution events.
RECOVERY MODE
The EA includes an optional recovery-management system.
Recovery Mode is designed to adjust trading behaviour following qualifying losing conditions.
The system includes configurable parameters for recovery activation, recovery targets and risk allocation.
Recovery Mode can reduce the risk allocated to subsequent trading opportunities.
It does not guarantee that previous losses will be recovered.
Users should evaluate recovery settings carefully before enabling the EA on a live account.
FIBONACCI ZONE VISUALIZATION
LumaForge Gold Mine includes chart visualization functionality.
The EA can display Fibonacci-based external structure zones associated with executed trades.
This allows users to see the broader trading areas from which qualifying positions originated.
The visualization system is designed to keep the chart focused on relevant trading structures rather than displaying every zone detected during market analysis.
Only Fibonacci zones associated with filled trade orders are intended to be displayed.
This provides a clearer view of the EA's trading activity without overwhelming the chart with unnecessary objects.
TRADING SESSIONS AND AUTOMATION
LumaForge Gold Mine contains configurable trading-session parameters associated with the London and New York sessions.
The EA also includes time-offset settings, trading cooldowns and rollover-management functionality.
These controls help the system manage its trading activity around selected trading periods.
A VPS is recommended for continuous automated operation.
LIVE AND HISTORICAL TESTING
LumaForge Gold Mine has been evaluated on the following configurations:
Exness — XAUUSD
Recommended starting balance: $500.
Headway — Vol80
Recommended starting balance: $1,000.
These configurations were used during development and testing.
The EA's behaviour can vary between trading instruments and brokers because of differences in volatility, contract specifications, leverage, spreads and execution conditions.
Users should independently test the EA using their intended broker and account configuration before trading with live funds.
Historical performance does not guarantee future results.
