BIG BROTHER
See the big candle while you trade the small ones
When you trade on M15, you see small candles. But many traders are watching the H4 or the daily candle, and their decisions move the market. One M15 candle is only a small piece of that bigger picture.
Big Brother shows you the bigger picture. It draws the higher-timeframe candles as large see-through "ghost" candles right behind your normal chart. You keep your usual timeframe, but you always see the big candle that is forming around it: its direction, its open, its wicks and how much time it has left.
How it works
Big Brother picks the bigger timeframe that fits your chart automatically:

You can also choose any bigger timeframe yourself. The current big candle builds live with every tick, so you watch it grow as it happens.
Features
Ghost candles
The last 6 big candles are drawn as large see-through candles behind your chart: blue for bullish, red for bearish, grey for undecided. Each has a glowing wick and an outlined body, and your normal candles stay fully visible.
Live big candle
The current big candle is a little brighter than the rest, and its outline gently pulses. You always know which one is still forming.
Key levels of the big candle
- Open line: where the big candle started. Price above it means the big candle is bullish so far, price below it means bearish.
- 50% midpoint: the middle of the big candle's range so far.
- Previous high and low: the high and low of the last big candle, drawn as dashed lines.
Countdown on the chart
"H4 closes in 01:23:45" is shown right above the big candle, so you know how much time it has left.
Dashboard
- A mini drawing of the current big candle, with the open and current price marked
- Direction: BULLISH, BEARISH or UNDECIDED
- Body size and upper and lower wicks, in pips
- How far price is from the big candle's open
- Range compared with normal, for example "Range 78% of normal", measured against the last 20 big candles
- "Chart candle 7 of 16": where you are inside the big candle
- A large countdown to the big candle's close, with a progress bar
- Spread (colour-coded) and the timer for your own chart candle
- The previous big candle's direction and range
Candle status
The dashboard tells you what the big candle is doing:
- BIG CANDLE BULLISH / BEARISH: price is above or below the big candle's open
- UPPER WICK GROWING: price was pushed back down from the big candle's high
- LOWER WICK GROWING: price was pushed back up from the big candle's low
- UNDECIDED: price is still near the open
Fully adjustable
Colours, ghost brightness, the number of big candles shown, and each level line can be switched on or off. It works on any symbol: forex, gold, indices and crypto.
