CandleCat

CandleCat is a small animated companion that lives in the corner of your chart.

It is not a trading system, not a signal generator and not an advisor. It never places, closes or modifies any order. It simply keeps you company while you work.

The cat sits on its cushion, breathes, blinks, stretches, and falls asleep during quiet hours. When something happens, it notices.

REACTS TO PRICE

Perks up on an unusually large bullish candle.

Startles on a sharp bearish candle.

Looks at unusually long wicks.

Gets sleepy when the market goes quiet, wakes up when volatility returns.

REACTS TO YOUR TRADES (read-only)

Notices when you open a position.

Gets gradually happier as an open trade reaches +0.5R, +1R and +2R.

Celebrates a profitable close.

On a losing trade it does NOT cry. It shrugs, glances away, and gets on with its day. This is deliberate: a losing trade is hard enough without your desktop pet making it worse.

YOU CAN INTERACT WITH IT

Click the cat to pet it. Feed it. Play with it. Click the paw button to open or close the small panel.

DESIGNED TO BE LEFT RUNNING

Compact corner footprint, does not cover your price action.

Calm by default: the cat is still most of the time.

Light on resources: it skips most of its own update cycles while idle.

Dark and light themes, automatically matched to your chart background.

Three sizes, and it can sit in the bottom-right or bottom-left corner.

SAFETY

Read-only. It never sends, closes or modifies orders, and never touches Stop Loss, Take Profit, volume or AutoTrading.

It never changes your chart template or colors.

It only removes its own objects when you remove it from the chart.

SETTINGS

Appearance: size, corner, theme, start collapsed.

Reactions: enable or disable trade reactions, market reactions, idle animation and interactions.

Sensitivity: how large a candle has to be before the cat reacts.

Scope: react only to positions on the current symbol.

Performance: low CPU mode.

Demo mode: cycles through every reaction so you can see what it does.

THIS IS VERSION 1

CandleCat is early and I am going to keep developing it. This first release is about the core: the cat, its corner, and its reactions to price and to your trades. More is planned. If something feels off, or you have an idea for what the cat should do, please leave a comment. I read them, and this is exactly the stage where feedback changes the product.
