PropMirror — the snapshot trade copier for your own prop and funded accounts.
Run several of your own accounts on one machine or VPS? PropMirror mirrors your master account to any number of slave terminals — opens, closes, partial closes and SL/TP changes, typically within one sync cycle (50 ms) plus your broker's execution. Built and battle-tested between my own live funded accounts since July 2026 — every safety rule below comes from an incident that actually happened.
Why snapshot-based matters. Most copiers stream events: if the slave misses one event (restart, lag, crash), master and slave silently drift apart. PropMirror broadcasts the complete position state twenty times per second (and instantly on every trade event) and each slave reconciles against it. A missed cycle heals itself on the next one. Restarts, VPS reboots, terminal crashes — the mirror always converges back to the master. No missed events, ever, by design.
What makes PropMirror different
- One file, both roles. Attach as Master on the source account, as Slave on each target — selected by a simple dropdown. One purchase covers both ends (10 activations = up to 5 pairs).
- Prop-grade safety defaults. Freezes when the master goes stale (heartbeat), never inflates positions below broker minimum lot (skips instead), one trade operation per cycle, retry brake against server-reject hammering, execution grace period against double-copies on slow brokers.
- Restart-proof pairing. Copies are married to their master position via global variables, not order comments (comments are not reliably readable on every broker server — learned the hard way). Slave restarts keep every pairing.
- Every master trade is copied exactly once. If you close a copy by hand, or your stop or account protection closes it, PropMirror does NOT re-open it while the master still holds the trade. Re-entry only through a new master trade. (Most copiers re-copy — a loss loop on a protected account.)
- Equity-proportional, fixed-multiplier or risk-equivalent sizing. A 20k slave following a 10k master doubles size — or set your own factor. Announce the master's risk per trade (e.g. 2 %) and the slave's (e.g. 0.25 %) and every copy carries the SLAVE's risk, whatever the account sizes. The ratio is frozen at open, so floating P&L never triggers rebalancing trades.
- Loud, not silent. Master stale, risk lock active, lock released — each transition is one journal line plus one push notification, never a flood.
- Risk-lock integration. Point PropMirror at a risk-lock global variable (e.g. from my PropGuardian account protector): the moment your protection locks the account the slave stops reading the master entirely — no new copies, no request hammering, existing positions untouched.
- Margin check before every order. If free margin is insufficient for a copy, no request is sent at all — the trade is skipped with a journal line instead of a rejected order.
- Magic-number filters. Copy everything, or only selected strategies, or exclude specific magics entirely — on both ends.
- Symbol mapping for brokers with different symbol names (GER40>DE40 etc.).
- Try it in the strategy tester. A built-in demo cycle simulates a master opening, modifying and closing positions — you can watch the full copy pipeline work before attaching it to real terminals.
Honest limitations (read before buying)
- Your own accounts only. PropMirror is a local mirror for accounts you own (allowed at most prop firms for your own accounts — verify your firm's rules). It is not a signal service and must not be used to copy third-party accounts.
- Same machine or VPS only. The bridge is a local file — master and slave terminals must run on the same Windows machine/VPS. MQL5 cloud VPS does NOT work (terminals get separate file systems). Portable-mode terminals need a one-time folder junction — ask in the Comments section and I will walk you through it.
- Copy latency is one sync cycle (default 50 ms) plus broker execution — measured and logged per copy. Fine for intraday and swing mirroring, not built for HFT scalping.
- SL/TP copying assumes comparable price levels (same or similar broker feed). For different feeds, disable SL/TP copy and rely on the mirror itself.
- Hedging accounts only (netting accounts are rejected at start).
Quick start
- Master terminal: attach to any chart, role = Master, set a channel name.
- Slave terminal(s): attach to any chart, role = Slave, SAME channel name. Done.
- Watch the journal: every copy, close and modification is logged with its reason.
