VDelta Volume Spike Pro is built on its own algorithm, around two principles: detect volume spikes that actually matter, and stay transparent about the delta behind them.
The indicator separates buying from selling volume on each bar, then compares that bar's volume against a statistical threshold derived from recent activity. When a bar exceeds the threshold, it is classified by intensity and delta direction, then scored for strength from its volume ratio, delta confidence, and range context. All detection logic is locked on the closed bar, so signals never repaint — what you see on history is exactly what you would have seen live.
What It Shows You

The indicator reads volume to estimate buying versus selling pressure, and displays the method and quality right on the panel: FLAG 84% or TICK-RULE 0% . You always know whether the delta is feed-flagged or estimated. The method is shown to you openly, every signal — nothing is hidden behind a single number.
★ True non-repaint. Every signal is locked on the closed bar. Arrows never disappear or jump once price moves.
★ Adaptive threshold — no manual tuning per symbol. Spikes are detected with a statistical threshold (mean + standard deviation of recent volume), so the tool adapts to each instrument and timeframe automatically. Three intensity levels control how selective it is.
★ Fast, light loading. The indicator is optimized to render history almost instantly. Closed-bar delta is computed from a candle-range method that needs no heavy tick scanning, while the live bar can still read tick data in real time. The chart stays responsive even on long histories.
Core Detection
- Three-tier spike classification — ordinary Big Buy / Big Sell spikes, a separate Extreme tier for the strongest bursts, and an Absorption tier that flags high volume inside a small-range candle with strongly one-sided delta: the footprint of large orders being absorbed at a level.
- Strength score on every signal — each spike is scored 0–100 from its volume ratio, delta confidence, and range context, printed next to the arrow. Filter weak signals at a glance.
- Delta divergence — when price makes a new extreme but the underlying delta weakens, the tool connects the two spikes with a line: an early read that the move may be losing fuel.
Context & Confirmation
- Multi-timeframe confirmation — optionally check whether the higher-timeframe delta agrees with the signal.
- Session awareness — normalize the spike threshold by trading session, so a quiet hour and a busy hour are judged fairly.
- Clean information panel — mode, average volume, threshold, delta method and quality, session, MTF state, recent signal counts, and bias, all in one place.

Key Settings
- Intensity Level — how selective detection is (Low / Medium / High). Higher = fewer, stronger signals.
- Use Real Delta — turns on volume-based buy/sell separation with method-and-quality reporting on the panel.
- History Tick Delta (InpHistoryTickDelta) — your choice of speed vs. detail. By default the indicator computes historical delta from a candle-range method, so the chart loads almost instantly. If your data feed provides high-quality tick flags and you prefer more granular historical delta, enable this option — note that the chart will then take longer to load. The default is off so you get fast loading out of the box, and you decide if you want the trade-off.
- MTF / Session / Absorption / Score — each module can be toggled independently to match your style.
