It trades statistically validated seasonal price patterns on EURUSD - recurring tendencies that have been present in the data for over two decades, driven by institutional flows, hedging cycles, and macroeconomic seasonality. Not by curve-fitting. Not by indicator optimization. By repetition across history.

Strategy Logic
Seasonal Alpha does not use indicators in the traditional sense.
It identifies time windows in the calendar year where EURUSD has historically shown a statistically significant directional bias, confirmed by a multi-layer filter system:

Each filter level reduces the pattern universe to only the highest-confidence setups. Strong mode trades only patterns with Sortino ≥ 3.0 and a confirmed multi-signal trend alignment.
Risk Management
- Every trade has a hard Stop Loss — no exceptions
- No martingale. No grid. No averaging. No recovery logic.
- Position sizing is always derived from the actual SL distance
- Three sizing modes: % risk of balance, fixed money at risk, or fixed lot

Broker Compatibility
Seasonal Alpha automatically detects your broker's EURUSD symbol name. If your broker uses a non-standard name (e.g. EURUSDm, EURUSD+, EURUSD.pro), simply enter it in the Broker symbol name input field. The EA validates that the symbol matches EURUSD before initializing — preventing accidental misconfiguration.
Installation
- Attach the EA to any chart (EURUSD,H4 recommended)
- Enter your broker's EURUSD symbol name if needed (leave blank for auto-detection)
- Select your Filter preset (Balanced recommended for most users)
- Set your risk per trade
- Enable AutoTrading

- The EA may have periods without open trades. This is by design — it only enters when a validated seasonal window is active and all selected filters confirm.
- Performance should be evaluated over full years, not individual trades or months.
- August historically shows weaker performance on EURUSD. This is reflected in the backtest and is not a bug.
