The Price Action Hunter Indicator is a professional-grade Smart Money Concepts indicator that maps institutional market structure in real time and fires confluence-scored trade signals. Every signal is confirmed at bar close — no repainting, no look-ahead.
WHAT IT DETECTS
Market Structure
- Swing highs and lows with configurable lookback
- Break of Structure (BOS) and Change of Character (CHoCH) with labeled lines
Institutional Zones
- Order Blocks: the last opposing candle before a displacement impulse, drawn and extended live
- Fair Value Gaps: three-candle imbalances with partial-fill tracking
- EQH / EQL Liquidity Pools: equal highs and lows that mark stop-hunt targets
Reference Levels
- Previous Day High/Low, Previous Week High/Low, Weekly Open, Daily Open — all drawn automatically and updated each session

SIGNAL ENGINE — 8-GATE FILTER SEQUENCE
A signal fires only when all of the following pass simultaneously:
1. Local trend aligned (BOS/CHoCH confirmed direction)
2. HTF bias not opposing (EMA-50 slope across 3 user-defined timeframes)
3. Price in correct Premium or Discount zone
4. Valid Order Block or Fair Value Gap being retested
5. Retest confirmed (close beyond zone within last 15 bars)
6. Displacement candle present (body >= ATR multiplier threshold)
7. BOS or CHoCH on record
8. Entry candle passes body-to-range ratio filter
Signals that clear all eight gates receive a star rating (1 to 5) based on bonus confluence factors: CHoCH flip, ICT killzone timing, stop-hunt confirmed, engulfing or pin bar pattern, OB + FVG overlap, and OTE Fibonacci zone (0.618-0.786 retracement).

NON-REPAINTING ARCHITECTURE
All detections are evaluated at a minimum bar shift of 2, meaning a signal is only placed after the triggering bar and its confirmation bar have both closed. Historical signals do not move or disappear on chart reload.

SL / TP PLACEMENT
Stop loss is set below the zone low (OB or FVG), or at the nearest prior swing low within 4x ATR. TP1 and TP2 are calculated at configurable risk multiples (default 2R and 3.5R) and automatically snapped to the nearest ICT reference level if one falls within 1 ATR.

DASHBOARD
A collapsible on-chart panel shows:
- Current trend and MTF bias with per-timeframe vote breakdown
- Active zone count (OB, FVG, EQH/EQL)
- Last signal direction, star rating, entry, SL, TP1, TP2
- Session win rate, net pips, and outcome breakdown (TP2 / TP1 partial / SL / pending)
The panel can be minimized with a single click.
