SMC Market Structure Pro is the advanced version of SMC Market Structure, built for traders who want deeper structural analysis, multi-timeframe context, and real-time notifications — all from a single indicator.
What it detects
The indicator automatically identifies and draws:
- Break of Structure (BoS) – Signals trend continuation
- Change of Character (CHoCH) – Indicates a potential trend reversal
- Internal BoS (iBoS) – Break of structure within the current swing, showing early momentum shifts before the external structure confirms
- Internal CHoCH (iCHoCH) – Early reversal signal within the developing swing, useful for anticipating rather than reacting
- External and Internal Swing Highs/Lows – The reference points used to define and track market structure at both levels
External structure tracks the dominant trend. Internal structure runs on a tighter swing depth and gives an early read on what price is doing inside the current leg — useful for entry timing and spotting shifts before they reach the higher-level structure.
Multi-Timeframe Dashboard
The built-in dashboard shows structure context across up to 10 timeframes simultaneously. For each active timeframe it displays:
- Trend Bias — combines external and internal structure into a single reading: Neutral · Weak Bull/Bear · Strong Bull/Bear. The external structure sets the direction, and the internal structure either reinforces or weakens it depending on whether the two layers agree. The result is a single label that reflects not just which way the trend is pointing, but how much conviction sits behind it.
- Last Break — the most recent structural break detected on that timeframe (BoS, CHoCH, iBoS, or iCHoCH)
- Quality Score — visual bar showing the strength of the last break (see below)
All timeframes are configurable. Rows set to None are hidden automatically, so the panel only takes up the space you need. The dashboard supports both dark and light themes to match your chart setup.
Break Quality Score
Each structural break is rated 1–3 based on how decisively price moved through the level, measured by comparing the break candle's body size to the recent ATR. A score of 3 means price broke with a strong impulse candle. A score of 1 means price barely clipped the level, often on a wick. This helps filter high-conviction setups from noise at a glance.
Notifications
The indicator can fire notifications the moment a structural break is detected. Available as:
- On-screen alerts (MT5 popup)
- Email notifications
- Push notifications (mobile)
Each alert type can be enabled independently. You can also filter by event type (BoS only, CHoCH only, or both) and by direction (bullish, bearish, or both).
Customization
External and internal structure are styled and toggled independently, so you can keep the chart as clean or as detailed as you prefer. Colors, line styles, widths, and label sizes are all adjustable for both structure layers. The dashboard position, font size, and bias colors are fully configurable.
