SZA Hybrid Trend Rider (Adaptive Exit) — MT5 Expert Advisor
SZA Hybrid Trend Rider is a rules-based trend-following Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5, designed to trade in the direction of the prevailing market regime with a disciplined pullback entry and a protective exit engine that reacts when momentum fades. The focus is controlled exposure, broker-safe execution, and consistent risk limits — not martingale, not grid.
How it works (high-level)
- Trend Regime Filter: The EA evaluates a composite Trend Score derived from multiple market dimensions (trend alignment, strength, volatility, and bias). Trades are allowed only if conditions meet the minimum regime quality.
- Pullback Entry: Instead of chasing price, the EA waits for a structured pullback into a “value zone” relative to the trend and confirms stability before entering.
- Adaptive Exit Engine: Positions are managed dynamically: protection increases as trend quality weakens, aiming to lock in gains and cut stagnating trades.
Exit logic (adaptive protection)
- Adaptive Trailing Stop: The trailing distance automatically tightens when trend quality deteriorates and stays wider when trend conditions are strong.
- Momentum-Decay Exit: If the trend quality drops and remains weak for a configurable confirmation period, the EA exits to avoid late-stage reversals.
- Time-Based “No Progress” Exit: If a trade does not deliver sufficient progress within a specified holding window, the EA closes the position to free margin and reduce dead exposure.
- Optional Fixed Take Profit: A configurable TP based on R-multiple can be enabled if desired.
Risk management & safety
- Fixed risk per trade (EUR): Lot size is computed from stop distance and symbol specifications, rounded down to broker lot steps.
- Daily protection: Max daily loss and daily drawdown limits can automatically disable trading for the day.
- Equity emergency stop: A hard equity stop can halt trading if maximum equity drawdown is reached.
- Spread & slippage controls: Trades are blocked when spread exceeds your limit; slippage is constrained.
- No martingale. No grid. Built for disciplined risk profiles.
- Netting & hedging compatible: The EA safely identifies and manages only its own positions.
Trade identification (Market-grade transparency)
- Magic Number and Strategy Tag ensure strict separation from other EAs.
- Every position receives a human-readable Trade ID (shown on dashboard and logs).
- Logs include ticket, Trade ID, entry/SL/TP, current profit, and R-multiple.
Premium on-chart dashboard (HUD)
- EA title & version
- Spread status, session status, regime state, current Trend Score
- Open positions, trades today
- Floating P/L, realized P/L today, remaining daily loss budget
- Last Trade ID + ticket
- Rolling P/L metrics (24h / 7d / 30d) and a simple 12-month projection
- Always visible (not affected by chart scrolling/zooming) and draggable with mouse
Notifications
- Push on new trade (Trade ID, symbol, direction, entry, SL/TP)
- Push on close (Trade ID, result, R-multiple, exit reason)
- Push when daily stop / trading disable is triggered
Inputs (structured & understandable)
Inputs are grouped for clarity: Trading Scope (symbols/timeframes), Session Filter, Risk & Limits, Spread/Slippage, Trend Score, Pullback Entry, and Exits. Each parameter is documented with a directional hint (more conservative vs. more aggressive).
Recommended usage
- Use liquid symbols with stable spreads.
- Start on a demo account and validate settings on your broker’s data and execution conditions.
- Use a VPS for stable connectivity and consistent order handling.
