X21 EA is an Expert Advisor developed specifically for Gold (XAU) trading on the MetaTrader 5 platform.
The EA automates trading and capital management according to parameters configured by the user. Its internal trading algorithm and execution methodology are proprietary components of the product and are intentionally not disclosed in this user guide.
THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTOR WHEN USING X21 EA
The core requirement when operating X21 EA is to estimate the lowest price that Gold could reasonably reach during the next 1–2 days.
Based on this estimated downside level, the user configures MaxAdversePriceRange — the price range that the system is prepared to withstand if Gold continues to decline.
A simple way to understand this parameter is:
MaxAdversePriceRange ≈ Current reference price − Estimated lowest price for the next 1–2 days + Safety buffer
This is the most important risk-management parameter of X21 EA.
If the configured range is too small relative to the actual movement of Gold, the market may fall beyond the prepared range and significantly increase account risk.
If the configured range is larger, BUY positions will be distributed farther apart, risk will be lower, and potential profit will also be lower.
For this reason, MaxAdversePriceRange should not be treated as a permanent set-and-forget parameter.
Before running the EA each day, the user should analyze the Gold market, estimate the lowest price that could reasonably be reached during the next 1–2 days, and configure MaxAdversePriceRange with an appropriate safety buffer.
The EA cannot guarantee an accurate prediction of the future market bottom. Determining an appropriate downside tolerance remains an important responsibility of the operator.
INPUT PARAMETERS
MaxAdversePriceRange
The maximum downside price range for which the user wants the system to be prepared.
This is the most important operating parameter and should be reassessed according to current Gold market conditions.
CapitalUsagePercent
The percentage of account capital that the user allows the EA to utilize.
Available range: 10%–100%.
Using 100% should not be considered the default choice unless the user has carefully evaluated account risk and available margin.
ProfitPriceRecoveryPercent
A parameter controlling the price-recovery requirement used by the EA's internal profit-management process.
Default value: 60%.
ProfitTargetPer001Lot
The profit-target parameter corresponding to each 0.01 lot of trading volume.
Default value: 5.0.
RECOMMENDED DAILY SETUP
-
Open the broker's Gold chart, such as XAUUSD or the corresponding Gold symbol.
-
Analyze the current trend, volatility, and important support areas.
-
Estimate the lowest price Gold could reasonably reach during the next 1–2 days.
-
Calculate the distance between the current reference price and the estimated downside level.
-
Add an appropriate safety buffer and use the resulting range to configure MaxAdversePriceRange.
-
Configure CapitalUsagePercent according to the amount of capital you are prepared to allocate to the EA.
-
Review the profit-management parameters.
-
Attach X21 EA to the Gold chart and enable Algo Trading.
-
Monitor account margin and trading conditions while the EA is operating.
RECOMMENDED MARKET
X21 EA is designed and optimized primarily for Gold (XAU).
Gold symbol names vary between brokers and may include:
XAUUSD, XAUUSDm, XAUUSD.a, GOLD, GOLDm, or similar variations.
Users should select the appropriate Gold instrument provided by their broker.
RISK MANAGEMENT
X21 EA does not eliminate trading risk and cannot guarantee that Gold will remain above the downside level estimated by the user.
In particular:
An incorrect estimate of the lowest price for the next 1–2 days may result in Gold moving beyond the configured adverse-price range.
Users should therefore prioritize:
-
An appropriate safety buffer in MaxAdversePriceRange.
-
A CapitalUsagePercent suitable for the account size.
-
Sufficient available free margin.
-
Daily reassessment of Gold market conditions.
Do not configure MaxAdversePriceRange once and assume that the same value will remain appropriate indefinitely. Gold market conditions change continuously, and this parameter should be reviewed regularly.
