US100 REAPER
Reaps the New York open. Gone before the close.
US100 Reaper is a fully automated Expert Advisor built for one market only: the Nasdaq-100 index (US100 / USTEC / NAS100). It trades the most liquid hours of the day, the US cash session, and is always flat before the closing bell. No overnight gaps. No weekend risk. No surprises when you wake up.
WHY TRADERS CHOOSE US100 REAPER
- Two engines, one EA
An intraday momentum engine and an opening range breakout engine work side by side. They trade different moments of the session, which smooths the equity curve compared with a single strategy.
- Built on documented market behaviour
Intraday momentum in US stock indices is a well-studied effect in academic research. US100 Reaper turns it into a clear, rule-based system with no discretion and no curve-fitted indicator soup.
- Protected from the first second
Every position is opened with a stop-loss. Every position has a defined exit: target, stop, momentum fade or end of session.
- Smart filters
A volatility filter avoids disorderly opens, and a day filter keeps the EA out of unstable sessions where momentum strategies usually struggle.
- Truly set-and-forget
US holidays, half-day sessions and daylight-saving time changes are handled automatically. Choose your broker type and a risk level, and you are done.
THE TWO ENGINES
Engine A - Intraday Momentum
Learns how much the market normally moves at each time of the day. It joins the trend only when price breaks clearly out of that normal "noise", and steps aside as soon as the momentum fades.
Engine B - Opening Range Breakout
Lets the New York open settle, then trades a confirmed breakout of the opening range. Stop and target come from the range itself, so every trade has a fixed, known risk.
RISK MANAGEMENT
- Long only, maximum one position per engine
- Stop-loss on every trade
- No grid, no martingale, no averaging down, no recovery tricks
- All positions closed before the US close and before the weekend
- Position size calculated from your balance and chosen risk level, and checked against free margin before every order
BACKTEST (Exness USTECm, M1, every tick, January 2020 - October 2026, $10,000, Risk level Standard)
- 1,404 trades, profit factor 1.32
- Maximum balance drawdown 13.7%
- Every calendar year profitable in this test, 65% of months positive
- Engine A: average win about 1.8x the average loss
- Engine B: 55% of trades winning
See the screenshots for the balance curve and the yearly breakdown.
Backtest results do not guarantee future results. Results depend on your broker's spreads, commissions and execution.
SETUP IN 3 STEPS
1) Attach the EA to a US100 / USTEC / NAS100 chart (any timeframe).
2) Choose your broker type in "Broker server time":
- Exness and other GMT+0 servers
- GMT+2/+3 servers: FTMO, IC Markets, Pepperstone, RoboForex...
- Custom (enter your server's offset)
On a live chart the EA checks this setting and warns you in the Experts tab if it looks wrong.
3) Choose a risk level:
- Low: average losing trade about 0.3% of balance, backtest max drawdown about 6%
- Medium: average losing trade about 0.4% of balance, backtest max drawdown about 8%
- Standard: average losing trade about 0.7% of balance, backtest max drawdown about 14%
- Custom: your own exposure
Future drawdowns can be larger than in the backtest.
