◆ QUARTER ZONE SCALPER ◆
Pullback signals · 25 % quarter zone target · live hit-rate lab · MT4 + MT5
Quarter Zone Scalper turns a simple pullback scalping method into clear, non-repainting signals. A trend ribbon sets the side, price pulls back through the EMA 20 and closes back on the trend side, and a stochastic 8 / 5 / 3 cross confirms. Every signal comes with the pullback swing, a stop and four targets - with the 25 % "quarter zone" as the main target.
▶ The idea: the less of a move you ask for, the more often you get it. The quarter zone takes only the first quarter of the distance between the pullback swing and the entry. And instead of just drawing that target, the indicator measures on your chart how often every level (25 / 50 / 75 / 100 %) was really reached before the stop - and what that meant in R.
| ✔ Never repaints Closed candles only. An arrow, a stop or a target never moves once the candle has closed - live and in the Strategy Tester. | ✔ Complete trade plan Entry, swing, stop and the 25 / 50 / 75 / 100 % levels for every signal - drawn as a level ladder and sent with the alert. |
| ✔ Honest statistics Hits, stops, hit rate and average R of every level on your symbol and timeframe, plus the scale-out plan (half at 25 %, stop to entry, half at 50 %). | ✔ Plasma arrows Glowing triple-chevron arrows with a star flare and a result badge. The newest signal pulses with shock-wave rings and orbiting sparks. |
■ The method in 30 seconds
| ❶ Trend ribbon | Two dotted lines: fast EMA 40 (bright) and slow EMA 60 (dim). Fast above slow = green - buy setups only. Fast below slow = red - sell setups only. The colour changes only when the lines cross - a price spike through the ribbon does not flip it. |
| ❷ Pullback + reclaim | Red ribbon: price closes above the white EMA 20 (the pullback), then a candle closes back below it = sell setup. Green ribbon: closes below, then back above = buy setup. The extreme of the pullback becomes the swing (0 %). |
| ❸ Stochastic | Stochastic 8 / 5 / 3. Sell: %K crosses below %D inside the last 3 candles and stays below. Buy: %K crosses above %D. No cross = no signal - this filters the classic trap where price is back under the EMA but momentum still points up. |
| ❹ Levels | Move = distance from the swing to the entry. 25 % = entry + 1/4 of the move in the trade direction (quarter zone), then 50 %, 75 %, 100 %. Stop = swing + 0.3 ATR. |
▼ Example (sell) - red ribbon, price rallies above the EMA 20 to a swing high of 1.14385, then a candle closes back below the EMA at 1.14153 and %K crosses below %D → SELL 1.14153. Move = 23.2 pips. Quarter zone 1.14095 (5.8 pips), 50 % 1.14037, stop 1.14406.
■ How to use it, step by step
| STEP 1 Install | Drag the indicator onto any chart - forex, gold, silver, indices, crypto, any timeframe. Dashboard, ribbon, EMA and the signal history appear after a few seconds. |
| STEP 2 Read the side | Ribbon colour or the first row of the Setup radar: BULL = only buys, BEAR = only sells. Ignore everything against the ribbon. |
| STEP 3 Wait for the pullback | Row 2 of the radar tells you live: "waiting for a pullback", "pullback 3 bars on the wrong side - wait for the close back" or "closes back below EMA 20 now". |
| STEP 4 Check momentum | Row 3 shows %K / %D and whether the cross exists. The mini stochastic shows the last 70 candles with every signal as a dot. |
| STEP 5 Signal | All three rows green → the meter reads "SIGNAL IF THIS CANDLE CLOSES HERE". Arrow and alert come on the candle close. Enter at the close of the signal candle or at the open of the next one. |
| STEP 6 Manage | Follow the ladder: stop, entry, quarter zone 25 %, 50 %, 75 / 100 %. A common plan: take half at 25 %, move the stop to entry, let the rest run to 50 %. The Latest signal card shows the live progress bar. |
| STEP 7 Know your market | Open the Quarter zone stats before you trade a symbol: hit rate and average R of every level on exactly this chart. Pick the timeframe and the target that work there. |
■ The dashboard, card by card
- Header - animated logo, symbol, timeframe, all periods, live status, server time. X folds the panel into a small pill (click to open again), the square button switches to the compact panel. Drag header or pill anywhere - position and state are remembered per chart.
- Setup radar - the three conditions on the forming candle with green checks, ribbon gap in ATR, distance of price from the EMA in ATR, %K / %D, a 3-step readiness meter and a mini stochastic chart.
- Latest signal - direction, time, entry, stop, 25 / 50 / 75 / 100 % with distance in pips and in R, a dot on every level already hit, status (running, 25 % hit, 50 % hit, stopped, expired) and a live progress bar from stop to 50 %.
- Quarter zone stats - hit rate of every level on this chart as a bar, a white tick for the rate that is often quoted for this method (90 / 60 / 20 / 10 %), and the average result per trade in R. Below: the scale-out plan. Strict count: stop first when stop and target share a candle, no spread.
Hover over any part of the dashboard or over an arrow for an explanation box (can be switched off). Several Quant Series panels on one chart move out of each other's way automatically.
■ On the chart
- ▲ ▼ Plasma arrows below the candle (buy) or above it (sell) with a light beam, a BUY / SELL tag and a result badge: green check = 25 % hit, gold check with ring = 50 % hit, red cross = stopped, cyan ring = running, grey = expired.
- Level ladder of the newest signal: green quarter zone, gold zone to 50 %, red stop zone, labels with price and distance.
- History: a thin line to the 25 % level for older signals - green when reached, red when the stop came first.
- Ribbon dots (fast + slow EMA) and the white EMA 20.
■ Inputs
| Ribbon fast / slow EMA | 40 / 60 - the two dotted lines that set the side |
| Pullback EMA | 20 - the white line; the pullback must close through it and back |
| Max. pullback length | 50 bars searched for the swing |
| Min. pullback size | 1.0 x ATR - ignores tiny wiggles around the EMA (0 = every pullback) |
| Stochastic | On / off, %K 8, %D 5, slowing 3, cross inside the last 3 candles |
| ATR length / stop buffer | 14 / 0.3 - stop = swing + 0.3 ATR |
| Main target | 25 % (quarter zone), 50, 75 or 100 % - used for the alert and buffer 8 |
| Expire / history | 100 bars without stop or target = expired; 5,000 bars of signals and statistics |
| Chart | Arrow size (auto follows the zoom), level ladder, history lines, animation, ribbon, EMA, colours |
| Alerts | New signal, main target hit, stop hit - popup, sound, push, e-mail |
| Panel | Full or compact, move away from other panels, start position, tooltips on / off |

■ FAQ
Does it repaint? No. Everything is calculated on closed candles. Only the radar preview of the forming candle moves - and it is labelled as a preview.
Which market and timeframe? Any. The statistics card shows the real hit rates of your chart. Higher timeframes (M15, H1) usually have a better ratio between target and spread than M1.
The 25 % target is hit very often - why can the average R still be negative? Because the stop sits behind the swing, which is further away than a quarter of the move. A high hit rate is not the same as a profitable method - that is exactly why the indicator shows both numbers. Combine it with your own trade management and filters.
Does it trade? No. It is an indicator: signals, levels, alerts and statistics.
