AURUMBREAK XAU PRO — VERSION 1.39 UPDATE (CAPITAL GUARD)
Hi everyone — v1.39 is live and available to all existing owners at no extra cost. Update your copy from the Market tab in MT5 (Terminal → Toolbox → Market → Updates), or re-download from the product page.
WHAT'S NEW
CAPITAL GUARD — the EA now sizes every order against your account, not only against the chart. Three checks run before an order is sent:
- Max equity risked by one position (default 20%) — if the stop-loss hit would cost more than that, the volume is reduced automatically.
- Max equity risked by all positions combined (default 35%) — further scale-ins are refused once total open risk reaches the cap.
- Minimum margin level after opening (default 200%) — the order is reduced or refused if it would push the account toward a stop out.
Why it matters: the ATR stop on gold is wide (2.6 × ATR). On a small balance, a wide stop plus scale-ins could previously consume too much margin in one go. Now the volume adapts to the account before the order leaves the terminal, so a wide stop can no longer force a stop out. All three guards are on by default and can be switched off individually (set to 0).
This release also passed the MQL5 Market validation suite with zero errors — EURUSD H1, XAUUSD D1, GBPUSD M30 and EURUSD M1.

Read that honestly: the guard trimmed four trades and gave up about 264 USD of profit. In exchange the worst relative drawdown dropped from 37% to 28% and the recovery factor went up. We consider that a good trade — the trades removed were the ones carrying disproportionate risk on a small account. On a larger account (1,000 USD+) at 0.01 lots none of these guards trigger, so results there are unchanged.
BROKER TIME REMINDER
The built-in hour schedule is calibrated on a GMT+0 server (Exness). If your broker runs GMT+2 or GMT+3, set "Hour schedule shift" to 2 or 3 — the same market hours stay selected. Leave it at 0 for GMT+0 servers. Prefer your own hours? Switch the hour filter off and use the SESSION window instead.
POSITION SIZING — PLEASE READ
At 0.01 lots one losing trade costs roughly 25 USD on average; the worst single loss in this test was 63 USD. On a 200 USD account that is a large share of equity. Use 0.01 lots on 500–1,000 USD or more, or switch VOLUME to compounding with 0.5–1% risk per trade. The EA can survive its own drawdowns — the account has to be big enough to absorb them.
