XAU Athenix is a fully automated Expert Advisor built for one job: trading XAUUSD (Gold) inside the rules of a funded-account or prop-firm challenge.
Most EAs are built only to find entries. Athenix is built around the part that actually ends challenges — risk and rule compliance — and wraps a disciplined Smart-Money entry model inside a hard layer of account protection that you cannot accidentally switch off.
How it trades
- H4 bias — a 50/200 EMA trend filter combined with Break-of-Structure / Change-of-Character analysis. The EA only trades when trend and market structure agree on direction, and stands aside in flat or tangled conditions.
- M5 entries — it waits for a high-quality Smart-Money setup: an Order Block, a Fair Value Gap, or a Liquidity Sweep. At least two of these must align, the price must return to the zone, and a rejection close must confirm before any order is placed. No chasing, no entering into momentum.
- Sessions — trades only during defined London and New York windows, the highest-liquidity hours for Gold. Configurable, with a broker UTC-offset input.
Trade management
- Stop-loss locks to break-even at +1R, then ratchets to lock partial profit.
- Partial close at the first target, with the remainder trailed by ATR toward a further target — designed to bank winners that stall before the final target.
- One position at a time. No grid, no martingale, no averaging down, ever.
Built-in prop-firm protection
- Daily drawdown guard — closes everything and halts for the day before the daily loss limit is reached, with a configurable safety buffer.
- Maximum drawdown guard — closes everything and disables the EA before the overall loss limit is reached.
- Friday lockdown — no new trades late Friday, optional auto-close before the weekend to avoid gap risk.
- News filter — block new entries around scheduled high-impact events.
- Trade pacing — daily and per-session trade caps, a consecutive-loss day stop, and a post-loss cooldown to prevent revenge trading.
- On-chart dashboard — live progress toward target, current and daily drawdown, trading-day count, and status at a glance.
Designed for FTMO-style rules
All challenge parameters are inputs: profit target, daily and maximum drawdown limits, minimum trading days, and phase selection. Set them to match your firm and the EA enforces them mechanically.
