📘 Strategy Description

This Expert Advisor is optimized for trading XAUUSD on the M5 timeframe.

The default settings have already been carefully optimized, so no additional parameter tuning is required for standard use.

⚙️ Core Logic

The strategy is based on a wick rejection and breakout concept:

  • It analyzes the previous candle’s wick length

  • It waits for a breakout of that candle’s high or low

  • Trades are triggered only when both conditions are satisfied

This approach aims to capture strong momentum moves after price rejection.

BUY Setup

  • The previous candle has a large upper wick

  • The current candle breaks above the previous high

SELL Setup

  • The previous candle has a large lower wick

  • The current candle breaks below the previous low

  • Stop trading after consecutive losses (daily protection)

  • One trade per candle option

  • Trade direction filter (BUY only / SELL only / BOTH)
