HotkeyTrader Pro — Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5

HotkeyTrader Pro is an Expert Advisor that allows executing and managing trades through configurable keyboard shortcuts, with integrated risk management tools and position tracking.

Keyboard execution

The EA includes 11 predefined keyboard shortcuts for opening buy and sell orders, managing open positions, and executing partial or full closes. It is compatible with external macro software such as AutoHotKey and with programmable input devices.

Risk management

Automatic position size calculation based on risk percentage over balance, ATR value or fixed lot. All parameters are configured in pips, with automatic adjustment depending on the instrument used. The EA includes automatic break-even activation and trailing stop with configurable distance and step.

Position scaling

Allows adding additional entries to an open position gradually. Also allows configuring multiple partial close levels to exit the position in parts.

Control panel

The EA displays a panel within the chart with real-time information about the account status, including equity, drawdown, available margin, current spread and time remaining until the current bar closes. The panel is collapsible and repositionable. It includes five color combinations selectable by the user.

Filters and operational limits

Session filter to restrict trading to specific hours. News filter to pause execution during periods of expected high volatility. Configurable daily profit limit and daily loss limit, with automatic halt of operations when either value is reached.
