UT Bot Pro is an Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5, built on the ATR Trailing Stop logic from the original UT Bot strategy. It is designed for XAUUSD and other volatile instruments, with a focus on trend following and capital protection.

Core Logic

The EA uses an ATR-based trailing stop combined with an EMA(1) signal crossover. All trades are opened only on closed candles, producing deterministic, non-repainting signals.

Trend Filter

A configurable EMA trend filter (period 50, 100, or 200) limits trade direction to align with the prevailing trend. Buy orders are only placed above the trend EMA; sell orders only below it. This reduces exposure during sideways market conditions.

EMA Kill Switch

An optional EMA-based exit mechanism closes open positions when price breaks a defined EMA level (default EMA 100). The exit is only triggered if the break distance is at least a specified multiple of the ATR value, which helps avoid exits caused by short-term wick spikes or minor pullbacks. This feature can be enabled or disabled at any time.

ATR Period, ATR Multiplier, EMA Signal Period, EMA Trend Period, EMA Kill Period, Kill ATR Ratio, Lot Size.

Recommended Setup

Timeframes M3 to M5. Works best on XAUUSD and volatile currency pairs. A VPS is recommended for continuous operation. The EA does not use martingale, grid, or hedging logic.
