Lycan MT5

Lycan is the bigger brother of Chiroptera. As Chiroptera, it employs single-trade trades only, with clearly defined stoploss and takeprofits, and operates on all 28 major and minor pairs.

As opposed to Chiroptera operating only at night and on the M5 timeframe, Lycan operates at all times and operates on the H1 timeframe, making it less spread and broker sensitive.

Default settings are recommended for all brokers. For backtest you do not need to use all ticks: 1-minute OHLC will suffice. 

Running on live account

- Add timeserver (without spaces) to your list of allowable URLs ( h t t p s : / / m q l . c h i r o p t e r a . i o )

- Attach Lycan to any pair on any timeframe e.g. "EURUSD H1". Pay attention to the suffix if any

- Optimal lotsizes are automatically embedded and will continue to be updated using internal learning, while trading on a live account (no need to learn any files yourself) 

Running in backtest

- Use 1-minute OHLC for faster backtest instead of 'Every Tick Based On Real Ticks'

- Download Baretail from Baremetalsoft and open the 'PrintMonitor' file in the 'Common' Folder for more verbose messaging on backtest results

- BE ADVISED THAT IN BACKTEST IT WILL TRADE MINIMUM LOTSIZES UNTIL LEARNING HAS CONVERGED. THIS CAN TAKE ANYWHERE BETWEEN 2-3 YEARS
