QUANT PANEL
Independent per-algo analytics, protected MT5 history and professional PDF reporting
Quant Panel is built for traders who run several Expert Advisors or strategies on one MT5 account and need to know how each algo is actually performing.
Instead of treating the terminal as one combined portfolio, Quant Panel groups closed positions by EA comment or magic number and calculates every strategy independently. It gives you one clear dashboard for comparing algos, finding weak systems and exporting evidence for deeper review.
INDEPENDENT PER-ALGO PERFORMANCE
Each strategy uses its own virtual starting balance and realised balance curve. One algo's profit cannot hide another algo's drawdown.
Statistics include:
- Net P&L and percentage gain
- Closed trades and win rate
- Independent maximum realised drawdown in money and percent
- Profit factor, expectancy and recovery factor
- Average win and average loss
- Best win and worst loss
- Maximum consecutive losing trades
- First and last trade dates
- Realised equity curve
Profit, swap, commission and fees are included. Partial closes belonging to the same MT5 position are consolidated so the trade count and performance figures remain meaningful.
PROTECT YOUR TRADE HISTORY
Demo brokers can shorten or remove old account history. Quant Panel maintains an account-and-server-specific CSV archive in the terminal's MQL5\Files folder.
On every analysis it merges the broker's current history with the archive. Missing closed positions are restored inside Quant Panel, while current broker records take priority if a position has been corrected. The archive is updated automatically and can preserve years of records that would otherwise disappear from the panel.
Important: this protects Quant Panel's analytics history. It does not write deleted trades back into the broker's Account History tab.
FAST PORTFOLIO REVIEW
- Group strategies by EA comment or magic number
- Switch between main and expanded Analytics views
- Filter the dashboard by symbol
- Review 7-day, 14-day, 30-day, MTD, YTD or custom periods
- Sort by performance or alphabetically
- Scroll through large collections of strategies
- Exclude selected magic numbers through the inputs
- See portfolio totals alongside independent algo results
MANAGE WHICH ALGOS YOU SEE
Manage mode provides persistent Hide/Show controls for individual strategies. Hidden algos remain available in Manage mode and can be restored at any time.
Automatic refresh pauses while Manage mode is open, so the list no longer jumps back to the top while you work. A single catch-up refresh runs when you return to the main dashboard.
FULL-PANEL ZOOM FOR LOCAL, RDP AND VPS SCREENS
The on-screen Zoom control cycles through 85%, 100%, 115% and 130%. Zoom proportionally scales the complete interface: panel size, rows, columns, buttons, headings, detail windows, charts and text.
Automatic resolution and DPI fitting helps the same panel remain usable when switching between a local monitor, Remote Desktop and a lower-resolution VPS session. The selected zoom level is remembered for the account.
FOUR-PAGE PDF TEAR SHEET FOR EACH ALGO
Open an algo's Details view and press Export PDF to create a self-contained report in MQL5\Files. No external PDF library or desktop application is required.
The report includes:
Page 1 - Overview and realised equity
- Headline P&L, gain, trades, win rate and drawdown
- Profit factor, expectancy, recovery and losing streak
- Average/best/worst trade statistics
- Dated cumulative closed-trade P&L chart in the account currency
Page 2 - Monthly and trade detail
- Monthly performance table
- Recent closed-position detail
- Return and trade-quality summaries
Page 3 - Risk and return analytics
- CAGR, Sharpe ratio and Sortino ratio
- Annualised volatility, Calmar ratio and Ulcer Index
- Historical Value at Risk and Expected Shortfall
- Skew and excess kurtosis
- Underwater drawdown chart
- Close-day return distribution
Page 4 - Seasonality and methodology
- Monthly seasonality heatmap
- Calculation definitions and assumptions
- History-continuity explanation
Reports display the account currency, chart date ranges, readable axes and the algo's current realised drawdown status.
HONEST DRAWDOWN METHODOLOGY
Quant Panel calculates historical per-algo drawdown from realised closed-position equity. Underwater drawdown measures how far the algo's realised balance is below its own previous peak. An algo can therefore be profitable from its starting point and still be in a current drawdown if it has not yet recovered its former high.
MT5 closed history does not contain a complete historical floating-equity path for every individual EA. Quant Panel therefore does not present a made-up historical floating drawdown figure. The report clearly labels its closed-trade, close-day methodology.
OPTIONAL ONLINE DASHBOARD SYNC
Enter your registered dashboard email to send the panel's aggregated strategy data to the supported online dashboard. MT5 WebRequest permission for the configured Quant Panel endpoint is required for this optional feature. Leave the email blank to keep the tool local. Feature coming in the next update.
CUSTOMISATION AND SETUP
- Custom panel colours and typography colours
- Adjustable column widths and maximum visible rows
- Configurable refresh interval
- Automatic scaling plus manual scale fine adjustment
- Optional comment filter and semicolon-separated magic-number exclusions
- User-defined independent per-algo starting balance, or automatic inference from account history
Setup is simple:
- Attach Quant Panel to one chart on the MT5 account.
- Choose Comment or Magic Number grouping and your preferred settings.
- Allow the panel to build its local CSV archive and analyse the account.
- Use Details for individual strategy analysis and PDF export.
DATA BASIS
Quant Panel is an analytics utility. It does not place, modify or close trades. Figures are derived from the closed-trade data available in the MT5 terminal plus Quant Panel's local CSV archive. Results depend on the quality and completeness of the source history.
