TrendMomentum Signal Indicator
A non-repainting, multi-timeframe trend crossover indicator that automatically plots Entry, Stop-Loss and three Take-Profit levels (TP1 / TP2 / TP3) directly on your chart, with built-in alerts for every new signal.
Key Features
- Trend crossover engine — generates signals when a smoothed Close average crosses a smoothed Open average, using your choice of ALMA, Hull or TEMA moving average
- Multi-timeframe confirmation — signals can be calculated from a higher timeframe (chart period × multiplier) to filter out short-term noise, while remaining non-repainting
- Automatic risk levels — Entry, Stop-Loss and three sequential Take-Profit lines are calculated and drawn for every signal, based on percentage distance from price
- Visual trade lines — Entry / SL / TP1 / TP2 / TP3 lines and labels are drawn and refreshed automatically on the chart

How It Works
The indicator tracks two moving averages built from Close and Open price. When the Close-based average crosses above the Open-based average, a bullish signal is generated; when it crosses below, a bearish signal is generated. Once a signal fires, the indicator projects a Stop-Loss level and three progressive Take-Profit levels from the signal price, and tracks price action to flag when each level is reached.
Signals are calculated only on confirmed, closed bars — the indicator does not repaint historical signals.

This is a visual signal and alert tool — it does not open, modify or close trades automatically. All trading decisions and order execution remain fully in your hands, or can be automated separately by connecting the alerts to your own Expert Advisor.
Input Parameters
Signal Engine
- MA Type — Moving average method used for the signal (TEMA / Hull / ALMA)
- MA Period — Lookback length of the moving average
- Sigma (ALMA) — Smoothness parameter, used only when ALMA is selected
- ALMA Offset — Offset parameter, used only when ALMA is selected
- Delay Open/Close MA — Optional bar delay applied before the moving average calculation
- Trade Type — Restrict signals to Long only, Short only, Both, or None
Alternate (Higher) Timeframe
- Use Alternate Signals — Calculate the crossover on a higher timeframe instead of the chart timeframe
- Multiplier for Alt Signals — How many chart periods make up the higher timeframe (e.g. 10 × M15 = higher TF)
Risk Management (%)
- TP1 Level — Take-Profit 1 distance from entry, in percent
- TP2 Level — Take-Profit 2 distance from entry, in percent
- TP3 Level — Take-Profit 3 distance from entry, in percent
- Stop Loss — Stop-Loss distance from entry, in percent
Display
- Draw Entry/SL/TP Lines — Show or hide the trade level lines and labels on the chart
- Alert on New Signal — Enable or disable pop-up alerts
- Max Bars to Process — Limits historical calculation range for performance on large charts
