MULTI-CORE OPERATING GUIDE
Valtor Four Gate Multi is a significant evolution of the Single version. Users who are already familiar with Valtor Four Gate Single can move to the Multi version without a steep learning curve because the core signal concept and operating style remain familiar. The Multi version extends that foundation with four sequentially activated cores, separate management for each core and additional whole-cycle controls.
1. CORE 1 STARTS THE SEQUENCE
Core 1 is active when a new multi-core cycle begins. It can open a position only when the configured Four Gate entry conditions are satisfied. The first actual fill price of Core 1 becomes the reference for the next activation boundaries.
2. HOW CORE 2 TO CORE 4 BECOME ACTIVE
The cores are activated strictly in order: Core 1, Core 2, Core 3 and Core 4. A later core cannot become active before the preceding core has recorded an actual fill. With the default Minimum next-core activation gap of 150.00, the EA calculates an upper and a lower boundary from the preceding core's first fill. When the current mid-price reaches either boundary, the next core becomes active.
The activation gap is a raw XAUUSD price distance, not an MT5 point count. For example, if the reference fill is 3,000.00 and the gap is 150.00, the initial upper and lower activation boundaries are 3,150.00 and 2,850.00. Broker symbol specifications can differ, so users must verify the displayed price format.
3. ACTIVATION IS NOT AN IMMEDIATE ENTRY
Reaching an activation boundary only changes the next core to an active waiting state. It does not open a trade immediately. The newly activated core must receive a fresh valid Four Gate signal before placing its first order. The direction of the boundary that activated the core does not force the direction of the later trade; the actual order direction follows the fresh signal.
4. BOUNDARIES AFTER EACH FIRST FILL
After an activated core receives its first fill, the EA updates the boundaries for the following core. The calculation keeps the minimum configured distance from the relevant activation boundary and from the new first fill. This prevents Core 3 or Core 4 from being activated before the preceding stage has completed its own first entry.
5. SEPARATE CORE MANAGEMENT
Each core has its own Magic Number, entry lot, floating-profit target and managed positions. With the default settings, each core uses 0.02 lot and a 20 USD floating-profit target. When a core reaches its own target, the EA attempts to close only the positions managed by that core. After all of that core's managed positions are closed, its signal observation state is reset and the active core returns to waiting for a new signal. Closing a core at its individual target does not create a new activation stage and does not automatically reset the complete four-core sequence.
6. COMBINED EQUITY TARGET
The default combined target is 300 USD. It is calculated from the saved seed equity while neutralizing changes in account credit. When the combined target is reached, the EA attempts to close the managed positions of all four cores. The complete multi-core cycle is reset only after all managed positions are confirmed closed. Core 1 then becomes the only active core and Core 2 to Core 4 return to their initial waiting state.
7. MANUAL CLOSE AND RESTART BEHAVIOR
With Restart cycle after manual close-all enabled, manually closing all managed Core 1 positions resets Core 1's local cycle reference and signal observations. The complete sequential activation state is preserved unless the combined target closes all cores and performs a full multi-cycle reset, or the user intentionally initializes the EA with Reset saved cycle on initialization enabled.
8. TERMINAL RESTART AND SAVED STATE
The EA stores the whole-cycle seed, credit, active-core sequence, first-fill references, activation boundaries, activation directions and closing states in terminal Global Variables. When Reset saved cycle on initialization is disabled, the EA restores this state after a terminal or EA restart. Users should not enable the reset option unless they intentionally want to discard the saved operating state.
9. RISK CONTROLS
The EA normalizes order volume to the broker's permitted minimum, maximum and step. It checks free margin and projected margin level before entry, limits total managed lots according to the configured maximum and applies the emergency equity floor from the saved cycle seed. These controls can block a new entry or trigger managed-position closing. They reduce specific operational risks but cannot eliminate trading loss, slippage, gaps, broker differences or execution failure.
10. OPERATING CHECKLIST
- Use a hedging account.
- Confirm the broker's XAUUSD symbol name, contract size, volume step and price digits.
- Check the panel for active cores, first-fill prices and the next upper and lower activation boundaries.
- Understand that a boundary touch activates a core but does not guarantee an immediate order.
- Test the chosen lot sizes, profit targets, activation gap and margin controls in the Strategy Tester and on a demo account before live use.
- Keep sufficient free margin for the maximum number of cores and positions permitted by the selected settings.
- Do not treat historical tests, activation boundaries or target values as a guarantee of future profit.
