개념

좁은 시장 국면에 과적합되기 쉬운 단일 설정 대신, SomaGold는 하나의 금 차트에서 단일 EA 아래 병렬로 실행되는 엄선된 32개의 사전 튜닝 전략을 제공합니다.

각 전략은 고유한 매직 넘버, 코멘트, 시간대, 스윙 탐지 매개변수, 청산, 뉴스 거리, 랏 스텝을 갖습니다. 동일한 실행 엔진을 공유하지만 독립적으로 거래하므로 수십 개의 차트를 관리하지 않고도 시간대와 브레이크아웃 폭에 걸친 진정한 분산을 얻을 수 있습니다.

포트폴리오 구성

48번의 완전히 다른 최적화를 수행했습니다:

  • 먼저 2개의 기간에서 최적화했습니다:
    • 2018–2023
    • 2020–2025
  • 시간대 그룹은 4개였습니다: D1, H12, H8, H4
  • 브레이크아웃 폭 변형은 세 가지였습니다:
    • V1 Broad: 스윙이 넓고, 설정은 적지만 더 강함;
    • V2 Medium: 설정 빈도 균형;
    • V3 Narrow: 스윙이 타이트하고 설정이 더 잦음.
  • 모두 return/dd로 최적화했습니다:
    • 먼저 Return / Balance DD
    • 그다음 Return / Equity DD

결과적으로 2 * 4 * 3 * 2 = 48개 전략이 나왔습니다.

시간대 × 폭 × 패밀리 조합이 분산을 만듭니다. 서로 다른 변동성 환경에서 서로 다른 전략이 발동하므로 자산 곡선이 단일 시장 행동에 의존하지 않습니다.

각 최적화는 새로운 결과를 주었습니다. 

  • 상관된 전략은 제거했습니다.
  • 실제 틱과 맞지 않는 전략은 제거했습니다.
  • 표본 외(2007–2018)에서 거래가 좋지 않은 전략은 제거했습니다.

OOS 기간은 10년이 넘으며 2008년 금융위기, 2011–2013년 금 강세/약세, 2014–2018년 장기 박스권, 여러 뉴스 충격 등 매우 다른 시장 국면을 포함합니다.
재튜닝 없이 이 전체 구간에서 포트폴리오는 수익성과 안정성을 유지했으며, 이것이 공개를 결심한 주된 이유입니다.
모든 최적화는 금요일 거래 종료를 켠 상태로 진행되어 위험한 주말 갭에 기반한 최적화를 배제했습니다. 기본 옵션으로 예측하기 어려운 갭으로부터 계정을 보호합니다.

그 결과 32개 전략만 남았습니다.

마지막 단계로 각 전략의 랏 크기는 return/balance DD의 최적 조합을 찾는 전용 Python 스크립트로 설정했습니다. DD에서 더 상관된 전략은 할당이 적고, 가치가 큰 전략은 랏 할당이 더 큽니다.

리스크와 랏 사이징

두 가지 사이징 모드가 있습니다:

  • 수동 랏 — 거래당 고정 랏
  • Lot per balance step — 계좌 자본 기반 자동 사이징, 전략별 스케일

추가 컨트롤로 리스크 프로파일을 미세 조정할 수 있습니다:

  • 계산된 랏 위의 전역 리스크 승수
  • 잔고와 관계없이 적용되는 하드 최대 랏 상한
  • 사이징 기준으로 잔고 또는 에쿼티 선택
  • OnlyUp 모드 — 랏은 자본 피크에 따라 올라가만 하고 내려가지 않습니다. 시작 시 EA는 최근 청산 거래 내역(구성 가능한 룩백)에서 역사적 피크를 시드하여 재시작마다 초기화되지 않고 첫 틱부터 의미 있는 OnlyUp 기준을 갖습니다
  • 비 USD 계좌에서 올바른 사이징을 위한 기준 통화 선택기(USD, EUR, GBP, HKD, SGD 또는 사용자 정의 심볼)
  • 마진콜 보호(기본 켜짐) — 주문 전에 EA는 기존 동일 방향의 대기 스톱/리밋을 시장가 주문 마진이 이미 필요한 것처럼 처리해, 브로커가 대기에 적게 예약할 때 사용 가능 마진이 과도하게 묶이지 않도록 합니다. 계산된 랏을 줄여 최악의 경우 동시 동일 방향 주문이 사이징 기준에 연동된 마진 예산 안에 머물게 할 수 있습니다. 레버리지와 여유를 완전히 통제할 때만 끄세요.

뉴스 필터

SomaGold에는 세 가지 고임팩트 이벤트 유형을 다루는 내장 미국 뉴스 캘린더가 있습니다:

  • NFP — Non-Farm Payrolls
  • CPI — Consumer Price Index
  • IR / FOMC — 중앙은행 금리 결정

각 이벤트 전후로 EA는 독립적으로 신규 진입을 차단하고, 기존 대기 주문을 취소하며, 열린 포지션을 청산할 수 있습니다. 각 전략은 이벤트 전·후 분 단위 창을 갖으므로 뉴스 보호는 전역이 아니라 전략별로 조정됩니다.

브로커 GMT는 수동 설정 또는 자동 감지가 가능하며, 서머타임 전환을 포함해 뉴스 창이 항상 브로커 시간에 맞춰집니다. 분류기는 ADP Nonfarm Employment 및 FOMC 연설/의사록 등 흔한 오탐을 제외하도록 강화되었습니다.

거래 창

선택적 월요일 개장 / 금요일 종가 창으로 주말 갭을 피할 수 있습니다. 거래 창 밖에서 대기 주문이나 열린 포지션도 종료할지 선택할 수 있습니다.

최적화는 금요일 종가 ON(기본 설정)으로 수행되어 위험한 시장 조건에 대한 과최적화가 없습니다.

Prop Firm 준수

MaxRandomizationPips로 각 거래의 진입/청산에 선택적 랜덤 pip 오프셋을 적용할 수 있습니다. 같은 EA를 쓰는 다른 트레이더와 약간 다른 레벨을 제공 — prop firm/funded 계좌에서 동일한 카피 패턴이 지적될 때 유용. 0으로 비활성화.

This gives the EA a much more diversified structure than many systems that depend on one setup, one timeframe, or one narrow market condition. So far so good. Only been running for a few weeks and only on one of my accounts as I like to evaluate an EA before loading it with capital but can't fault the performance so far. Stays quiet when the market is moving sideways (i.e. does not fall into the trap of overtrading) and then opens what are at times a frightening number of positions when the market moves in the right way - however those positions are opened and actively managed with what appears to be excellent risk control. I've only added this EA to my portfolio less than a month ago but already running ~5% return. Support from Andrew also very prompt and transparent.

I’ve tested many gold EAs over the years, including Wim’s bots like Gold Reaper and several others, but SomaGold has honestly replaced all of them for me. The performance feels much more stable, the entries are cleaner, and the overall risk management is far better in my experience. It runs smoothly on MT5 and gives me much more confidence during volatile gold moves. So far, SomaGold has become my go-to EA for gold trading!

Very strong product. Backtest result shows a good result that I'm adding to my portfolio. The author includes 32 breakout strategies mostly from higher timeframes in a single EA, providing good diversification and stability. The return to drawdown ratio is impressive so the account can recover quickly from any drawdown. Excited to see how it performs live!

Great product. Solid backtest results, no overfitting and such. Though past result will not indicate future performance, but I believe there will be a high probaility it will perform great. Time will tell. Also can't bargain for this launch price. Grab it early while you can! Soma is a legit developer who thrive to find the best possible solution for trading opportunity.
