Donchian Portfolio Visual MT5 is a rule-based trend-following EA designed to trade strong breakouts afterextended consolidation ranges. It uses the classic Donchian Channel concept to identify market expansion,while EMA200, ADX, ATR volatility filters and spread control help avoid weak or noisy conditions.
The default setup is designed for EURUSD and GBPUSD on the H4 timeframe, using a conservativeportfolio approach from one chart.
Core Idea
Markets often move from compression to expansion. This EA waits for price to break a significantDonchian range and then enters in the direction of the breakout, only when trend and volatility filtersagree.
