The FX Donchian H4 Portfolio Visual v3 is a trend-following Expert Advisor designed to capture strong market movements after the breakout of significant consolidation ranges. It does not try to predict tops or bottoms — it waits for the price to break out of an important "box" (Donchian Channel) and enters in the direction of the momentum.

How It Works

The EA monitors a Donchian Channel (entry and exit) combined with directional filtering using EMA 200, ADX, EMA slope, channel width, and dynamic spread filter based on ATR.

  • Entry: Breakout of the Donchian Channel + alignment with the EMA 200 trend direction.
  • Exit: Fixed Take Profit (2.0 ATR), Stop Loss (1.5 ATR), or opposite breakout of the shorter exit Donchian Channel.
  • v2 Filters: Minimum ADX, minimum EMA slope, minimum channel width, and dynamic spread filter — making the strategy significantly more robust.

    • Blue lines → Donchian Entry Channel
