Apex Drift — Trend-Following Expert Advisor
Apex Drift is a trend-following Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5. It identifies structural highs and lows, waits for price to reclaim a prior structural level with sufficient momentum, and enters only when the higher-timeframe trend supports continuation. Stops are adaptive and exits use a split-target structure for partial profit-taking.
Account Requirement
This Expert Advisor is designed and optimized for a **$200,000 account balance**. Position sizing is calculated as a percentage of account equity, and the strategy's minimum lot alignment requires a $200K balance to function as intended. It is not recommended for accounts below this size.
Strategy
The EA detects structural ranges and waits for price to break a prior structural level with momentum. Trades are filtered by a higher-timeframe EMA bias and a market strength indicator to avoid ranging conditions.
Entries occur after a brief retracement into the structural range. Stops are ATR-based and adjust to current volatility. Exits use a split-target structure: partial profit is taken at the first target, and the remainder runs to the second target.
