REBOUND SETUPS SCANNER EA
Order Block rebounds, multi-pair scanning and optional auto-trading for MetaTrader 5
By SaintEmma Fx Systems
TRADE THE REBOUND, NOT THE GUESSWORK
If you've ever chased a move and entered too late, or taken a trade without really knowing why, this EA is built for you.
Rebound Setups Scanner EA watches your Market Watch pairs, finds places where price is likely to react, waits for a real rebound to show up, and then scores the setup so you can see how strong it is. You can use it purely as a scanner that tells you where to look, or let it place the trades for you. The choice is yours, and you can switch between the two whenever you like.
It follows one simple idea: find the zone on the H1 chart, wait for the reaction on the M15 chart, and only then take the trade, in the direction of the trend.
HOW IT FINDS A TRADE
The H1 Order Block
Everything starts on the H1 chart. The EA looks for a strong, impulsive move that breaks past a recent high or low, then marks the last opposite candle before that move as an Order Block. That's the zone where price may come back and react.
Only the most recent Order Block is used, and only while it's still valid. If price closes through it, it's discarded. You'll always see just one clean zone on your chart, not a cluttered mess of old levels.
The trend has to agree
Rebound trades work best when they go with the market, so the EA checks the H1 trend (a 50 and 200 EMA by default) and the H1 swing structure. It also reads a Daily Bias built from EMA, RSI, MACD, ADX, the daily pivot and the daily open. A buy setup needs the broader picture to lean bullish, and a sell setup needs it to lean bearish. Every one of these filters can be switched on or off in the settings.
The M15 rebound
Once price is back at the zone, the EA waits for proof that buyers or sellers are stepping in. That means a bullish or bearish M15 candle that closes away from the zone, either breaking the previous candle's high or low or showing a clear rejection wick. Your entry comes after that signal candle closes, as long as the conditions still hold.
The confluence score
Not every setup is equal, so each one gets a score out of 10. Points are added for things like trend alignment, a clean H1 structure, daily bias agreement, a fresh untouched Order Block, a strong move into the zone, a powerful rebound candle, a micro-structure breakout, a volume surge, and enough room to the next target. The higher the score, the more of the EA's checks are satisfied. A high score is not a promise of a winner, but it helps you focus on the better setups first.
Stop loss and targets
The stop loss sits at the low (or high) of the rollback, plus a 3 pip buffer. TP1 is 1 times your risk. TP2 is the next liquidity level, found from earlier H1 swing points and the previous day's high or low. If no suitable level is found, TP2 falls back to 2 times your risk. TP2 is shown on the chart as a target to aim at. When the EA trades, it takes profit at TP1.
YOUR DASHBOARD
Everything is on the chart, so you don't have to hop between pairs.
A SCAN button in the top-left corner scans every Market Watch pair on H1 and M15. It also rescans on its own every 10 minutes and on each new M15 candle.
A High Impact News button shows upcoming high-impact events for the next 240 minutes, so you know what's coming.
A 1% Risk Calculator sits just under it and shows the exact lot size for each top signal, based on the stop distance.
A ranked Top 4 list shows the best setups by confluence score, with entry, stop, TP1 and TP2.
Click any setup and it opens in its own chart window, with a green box from entry to your targets and a red box from entry to your stop. The Daily Bias sits at the top centre of the chart, and the chart gets a clean white theme with blue bull candles and brown bear candles.
SCANNER, AUTO-TRADER, OR BOTH
With auto-trading off, it's a scanner. You get the dashboard, the drawings and the alerts, and you make the final decision.
With auto-trading on, the EA takes the best qualifying signal and does the rest. It checks that price hasn't run too far from the planned entry, works out your lot size, checks margin and broker limits, places the order with protective levels, manages the trade and tells you what it did. It takes one trade per day.
It also protects itself. It won't trade when the market is closed, it respects your broker's stop and volume limits, and on a netting account it won't open a new trade on a pair that already has an open position.
RISK AND LOT SIZE
Position size is worked out from where your stop loss actually sits, using your broker's own tick value and lot rules.
You can risk a percentage of your balance (1% by default and fully adjustable) or a fixed dollar amount per trade. The fixed amount starts at $100, so set it to something that suits your account.
If your broker's minimum lot would risk more than you've chosen, the EA skips the trade by default rather than risking more than you planned. You can change that, but only if you're comfortable with the higher exposure.
Lot sizes are estimates. Slippage, spread, commission and gaps can all make a real loss differ from the planned one.
TRADE MANAGEMENT: STEALTH AND PHYSICAL PROTECTION
The EA uses two layers of protection on every trade.
Stealth levels are watched by the EA itself, which closes the trade when your stop loss or TP1 is reached. A real stop loss and take profit also sit on the order at the broker, so you're protected even if your terminal loses connection. The physical stop sits slightly beyond the stealth one as a safety net, and the physical take profit sits at TP1.
The EA also trails your stop in steps. Once price reaches 50% of the way to TP1, the stop moves halfway between your entry and the original stop. After that, for every further 10% of progress toward TP1, the stop moves another 10% of the original risk toward your entry. This steadily reduces your risk as the trade moves your way.
Stealth exits and trailing only work while the EA is running and connected, so keep your terminal or VPS online. Trailing can't guarantee a profit, because price can still reverse.
NEWS AND ALERTS
The news panel shows high-impact events ahead of time, and setups close to news are flagged. You can choose to hide those signals, or stop the EA from trading them. Calendar data comes from MetaTrader, so it isn't available in the Strategy Tester and it isn't a replacement for checking the calendar yourself.
You get alerts for each new setup and each trade the EA opens. They include the entry, stop loss, TP1 and your recommended lot size. Choose from terminal popups, push notifications to your phone and email. Push needs your MetaQuotes ID set up in the terminal, and email needs SMTP configured.
LEARN THE STRATEGY AS YOU USE IT
The EA is also a good teacher. Open a signal and you can see the H1 zone, the M15 reaction, the score and what contributed to it, the stop and the targets, all laid out on the chart. Study a few of them. Notice how a touch of the zone isn't enough on its own, and how the better setups line up the trend, the bias and a strong rebound candle. If you keep a journal of setups and results, you'll quickly learn what works best on your broker and pairs.
To be clear, the EA is rule-based. It doesn't learn or rewrite itself as it trades. The learning is yours.
GETTING STARTED
1. Copy the EA into your MQL5/Experts folder, compile it, and attach it to a chart.
2. Add the pairs you want scanned to Market Watch.
3. Set your risk. Start small.
4. Turn off auto-trading at first and watch the signals for a few days.
5. Run it in the Strategy Tester with realistic spreads, then forward-test it on a demo account.
6. Enable auto-trading only when you understand what it does and you're happy with how it behaves.
Make sure AutoTrading is enabled in your terminal, and watch the Experts and Journal tabs for any rejected orders.
A FEW DO'S AND DON'TS
Do test on a demo account first, check that your broker's symbols and rules suit the EA, keep your terminal online, review each setup's score, and check the economic calendar around big news.
Don't assume every signal will win, treat a 10/10 score as a guarantee, increase your risk to chase losses, rely on stealth levels if your terminal might disconnect, or optimise purely for past profit. And never trade money you can't afford to lose.
DEFAULT SETTINGS
The defaults are a starting point, not a recommendation, so adjust them to your pairs and account. The H1 trend uses a 50 and 200 EMA. The Order Block search looks back 80 H1 candles and needs an impulse of at least 1.5 times ATR. Signals can be up to 3 closed M15 candles old. Alerts and auto-trading both need a score of at least 5 out of 10. Risk is 1% of balance per trade. TP1 is 1R, with a minimum TP2 of 1.2R and a fallback of 2R. The stop buffer is 3 pips. News shows 240 minutes ahead and flags setups within 60 minutes. Auto-trading, stealth stop loss, stealth take profit and trailing are all on by default, and the scanner refreshes every 10 minutes and on each new M15 candle.
WHO IT'S FOR
Traders who want a structured way to scan many pairs, people learning Order Blocks and rebound trading, discretionary traders who like alerts and a clear chart, and experienced traders who want configurable automation.
It's not a shortcut to guaranteed income. Results depend on your broker, your settings and the market, so test it properly before trusting it with real money.
FINAL WORD
Rebound Setups Scanner EA brings the whole process into one place: scanning, Order Blocks, trend, bias, scoring, risk, alerts and trade management. Use it as a scanner, study it as a strategy, test it as a robot. Most importantly, understand what it does before you give it real capital.
Your next trade should start with a plan, not a guess.
