Section 1: Context and Core Value
Three Bars of Rest, One Bar of Power.
A frequent challenge in trending environments is misinterpreting a brief pause as a structural reversal. Traders often observe a established move, only to exit prematurely when a few small candles retrace against the primary flow, missing the subsequent expansion leg. This usually occurs when it is difficult to distinguish between a controlled, shallow consolidation and an authentic trend shift.
This indicator addresses that challenge by identifying precise continuation structures: a brief, controlled counter-move followed by an expansion bar that breaks through the consolidation boundary. Once momentum realigns with the dominant trend, a clear visual marker is displayed on the chart to assist with timely execution. The logic is optimized for high-volume sessions and liquid trading instruments where structured trends occur regularly.
Section 2: Entry Logic and Trade Management
When the system identifies a setup, the trade framework is clearly defined on the chart:
- BUY Setup: Confirms an established upward trend structure followed by a temporary, shallow corrective cluster drifting lower. A strong bullish candle then forms, closing above the high of the corrective cluster. Once that candle closes, a green signal arrow prints, signaling an entry at the open of the next bar.
- SELL Setup: Confirms an established downward trend structure followed by a temporary counter-trend cluster drifting higher. A decisive bearish candle then breaks and closes below the low of the cluster. Once confirmed at candle close, a red signal arrow prints, signaling an entry at the open of the next bar.
- Structural Stop Loss: Automatically calculated and placed beyond the extreme level of the corrective cluster, including a volatility buffer to prevent premature stops during routine price fluctuation.
- Multi-Tier Target Ladder: Projects four Take Profit levels based on fixed risk-to-reward ratios:
- TP1: Positioned for early profit preservation on initial momentum follow-through.
- TP2: Targets typical structural swings to balance trade progression.
- TP3: Aims to capture extended wave movement during sustained trend runs.
- TP4: Positioned as an extended runner level to capture maximum price continuation in sustained trends.
- Calculation Integrity: All signals, entry levels, Stop Loss positions, and target markers are evaluated strictly upon bar completion. Once confirmed at candle close, these visual markers remain static and do not recalculate, shift, or disappear on historical data.

- Limits rapid BUY/SELL flip-flopping in tight consolidation ranges.
- Restricts new same-direction signals while a prior setup is still active.
- Requires a minimum R-distance before the next signal can trigger.
On-Chart Historical Backtest Panel
A built-in panel summarizes how signals performed on historical data for the current settings:
- Historical hit-rate breakdown across TP1, TP2, TP3, and TP4.
- Sample size shown for the configured lookback period.
- Highlights which TP level had the best historical hit-rate for that sample.
