TrueSMC is a MetaTrader 5 indicator for reading market structure and related price-action objects from one shared model. It combines five analysis modules with an on-chart control panel and configurable alerts. It does not open, close, or manage trades.
Closed-bar model
Confirmed objects are calculated from closed bars. Once a confirmed event or object is published, it is not moved to another historical bar. Swing confirmation has an intentional delay: a swing using length N is confirmed only after N bars have closed to its right.
The optional provisional layer marks the still-forming extreme near the right edge. This layer can change before confirmation and is visually separate from confirmed structure.

- Premium, equilibrium, and discount areas between current structural levels
- Entry markers and alerts on bar close
- Zones remain blank until the required structural range exists
Panel, themes, and presets
The on-chart panel can show or hide each drawing layer without changing the underlying calculation. The information panel displays current bias, the latest event, nearby trigger levels, and active object counts.
Three visual themes are included: Classic, Dark, and Light. Scalper, Intraday, and Swing presets provide starting values while all underlying inputs remain available. Custom mode uses the entered values unchanged.
Alerts
Each supported event can be routed independently to popup, MetaQuotes push notification, terminal email, or sound. Alerts are evaluated from closed bars and are emitted once per event. Push and email delivery require the corresponding MetaTrader terminal settings.
Events include BOS, CHoCH, order-block tap, order-block violation, fair-value-gap fill, liquidity sweep, Premium entry, and Discount entry.
EA integration
TrueSMC publishes 30 indicator buffers for use through iCustom:
- 0-8: structure model
- 9-15: order blocks
- 16-21: fair value gaps
- 22-25: liquidity
- 26-29: premium and discount zones
Automation should read closed bars. Buffers for provisional highs and lows are explicitly forming values and should not be used as confirmed signals.
Important notes
- TrueSMC is an analysis indicator, not a trading robot.
- It does not predict prices or guarantee trading results.
- Confirmation delay is part of the closed-bar method.
- Results depend on the selected symbol, timeframe, and input settings.
- Buyers can test the complete indicator in the MQL5 Strategy Tester before purchasing.
