SMC EA – CoreFusion Guarded is an automated trading Expert Advisor built around market structure, momentum, trend confirmation and disciplined risk management.
The EA is designed primarily for XAUUSD (Gold) on the M15 timeframe using Smart Money Concepts combined with EMA trend direction, RSI momentum, Break of Structure (BOS), displacement, Order Blocks and Fair Value Gaps.
Instead of relying on large numbers of indicators, the EA focuses on a small number of conditions that have a clear trading purpose.
Main Advantages
Smart Market Structure Entries
The EA identifies confirmed market structure and looks for a valid Break of Structure (BOS) before considering an entry.
A BOS setup remains active for a limited number of bars, allowing the EA to wait for a suitable entry rather than entering immediately on every breakout.
Trend Confirmation
The EA uses a fast and slow EMA combination to determine the current trend.

EMA slope confirmation is also used to help avoid weak or counter-trend movements.
RSI Momentum Confirmation
RSI is used as a momentum filter rather than as a standalone entry signal.

This helps the EA trade when momentum supports the detected market structure.
Displacement Confirmation
A breakout alone is not enough.
The EA checks for a strong displacement candle to confirm that the market has moved with sufficient momentum before entering.
This helps reduce entries caused by weak or false structure breaks.

Order Blocks and Fair Value Gaps are primarily used as additional context rather than forcing every trade to contain all SMC conditions.
Structural Stop Loss
Stop losses are calculated from market structure and ATR rather than using one fixed number of points.
This allows the stop distance to adapt to current Gold volatility.
Minimum and maximum ATR-based stop limits are also available.
Minimum 2:1 Risk-to-Reward
The default minimum risk-to-reward target is:
1:2
For example, if the initial risk is 1R, the standard target is at least 2R.
Adaptive Percentage Risk
The EA uses percentage-based risk management.
Position size is automatically calculated according to:

The default risk is conservative and can automatically adjust according to recent strategy performance.
Performance-Based Risk Adjustment
The EA evaluates recent closed trades separately for BUY and SELL positions.
When recent performance is strong, risk can increase slightly.
When recent performance becomes weak, risk can automatically decrease.
Importantly, this performance system controls position size only. It does not reject an otherwise valid trading setup.
Protected Pyramiding
The EA can hold up to two positions, but it does not blindly stack multiple trades in the same direction.
Before opening another position in the same direction, existing positions must first be protected at breakeven or better.
This helps prevent several full-risk positions from being exposed to the same market reversal.
Aggregate Risk Protection
The EA calculates total initial risk across open positions.
New trades can be prevented when total exposure exceeds the configured account-risk limit.
Daily and Weekly Drawdown Protection
Trading can automatically stop when the account reaches the configured:

This provides an additional layer of account protection during difficult market conditions.
Consecutive-Loss Protection
After a configured number of consecutive losing trades, the EA activates a cooldown period before trading again.

Break-Even Protection
When a position reaches the configured profit level, the EA can automatically move the stop loss to breakeven plus a small buffer.

Partial Profit Taking
For positions large enough to support partial closing, the EA can automatically close part of the trade after reaching a selected profit level.

Small-Lot Profit Protection
Some brokers do not allow a 0.01-lot position to be partially closed.
In this situation, the EA automatically uses a profit-locking stop-loss method instead of attempting an invalid partial close.
ATR Trailing Stop
Profitable positions can be managed using an ATR-based trailing stop.
This allows the EA to protect profits while still giving strong trends room to continue.
Spread Protection
The EA monitors both:
