1. DONCHIAN BREAKOUT ENGINE: The EA calculates the Highest High and Lowest Low over a configurable N-bar lookback period (default: 20 bars). When price CLOSES above the channel ceiling or below the channel floor with multi-bar confirmation, it enters with surgical precision.
2. ATR VOLATILITY FILTER: Every breakout signal must pass an ATR candle-size filter. If the breakout candle body is smaller than 0.5x ATR, the signal is rejected as noise. This eliminates false breakouts during low-volatility ranging markets.
3. MULTI-BAR CONFIRMATION: Unlike naive breakout systems that enter on the first tick, Archangel requires N consecutive bars closing beyond the Donchian boundary (default: 2 bars). This dramatically reduces whipsaw entries.
