Overview
Apex Reversal Matrix is a non-repainting reversal indicator for MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 designed to identify potential short-term reversal points through the confluence of three independent market conditions.
Instead of generating a signal from a single indicator or isolated price event, Apex Reversal Matrix looks for alignment between:
Volatility Corridor Breach → Momentum Exhaustion → Range Contraction
A signal is generated only when the configured minimum number of conditions confirms the same reversal scenario on a completed bar.
The result is a structured, visually clean approach to identifying situations where an extended price movement may be losing strength.

Non-Repainting Signals

Adaptive Volatility Corridor
The upper and lower corridor boundaries are dynamically calculated using:

Momentum Exhaustion Filter

Apex Reversal Matrix compares the current candle range with the average range of preceding bars.

Configurable Confluence Threshold
MinConfluence determines how many of the three conditions must agree before a signal is displayed.

Buy / Sell Signal Separation
Long and short scenarios are evaluated independently.

A dedicated data-window value records the strength of the confirmed setup.

How the Signal Is BuiltApex Reversal Matrix evaluates three components.
1. Volatility Corridor Reversal
The indicator calculates an adaptive corridor around a moving-average baseline using ATR.
For a potential Sell setup:
Previous bar closes above the upper corridor → Current bar returns inside the corridor
For a potential Buy setup:
Previous bar closes below the lower corridor → Current bar returns inside the corridor
This identifies a price extension followed by a return toward the measured range.
2. Momentum Exhaustion
The RSI component provides momentum confirmation.
Sell condition
The previous bar reaches or exceeds the configured:
OverboughtLevel
and the current RSI value begins moving lower.
Buy condition
The previous bar reaches or falls below:
OversoldLevel
and the current RSI value begins moving higher.
This is intended to identify situations where the previous directional impulse may be losing strength.
3. Range Contraction
The current candle range is compared with the average range of the preceding ImpulseLookback bars.
The contraction threshold is controlled by:

A sufficiently smaller current range contributes one point to the confluence score.
Confluence ScoringEach confirmed component contributes one point.

For example, with MinConfluence = 2 , at least two of the three conditions must agree before a signal is displayed.
If both Buy and Sell scenarios receive the same score, no signal is generated.

Higher values generally produce a smoother baseline, while lower values make the corridor more responsive to recent price changes.
